This is true. I know when I hit 26 and still lived at home, women looked down on it. They would all say "oh that's cool..at least you are saving your money." But would either hold it against me or start fading away. And it was evident that I was being smart with my finances and thinking about the the long term but they didn't give a shyt. (We all know women are short-sighted as hell). So I know a 35 year old man wouldn't even be entertained by the average woman if he still lived at home.
It's very rare for a woman to give a man a pass for living at home. They may say it's ok. But, the minute they get to talking with their girls:
Brehette: I met someone new. He's great.
Friend 1: So tell us about him.
Friend 2: Yeah. What does he do?
Brehette: He's a consultant.
