I said potentially washed up as in we won't know until we see him play.

LeBron James' free agency >>>>>>> Peyton's.

Nice rant for nothing.

FOH why would they sign him to a 5 year deal if he was potentially washed up? Wash your mouth out with soap for talking about the gawd like that. And you saying Lebrond Free Agency> Peytons is just reiterating my point. Seems like you just want ur voice to be heard even if its an echo....

But again I have to ask: what did LeBron do wrong?

He didn't do what he was supposed to do like a good boy. Fans don't give a fukk about loyalty or humility or Cleveland because they tuned in in record numbers with their fingers crossed hoping he left Cleveland for their squad. As I have said a thousand times before people were mad because they either lived in Cleveland (rightfully so), lived in a city or supported a team he passed on, lived in a city or supported a team he was now a threat to, or just didn't like the nikka already.

LeBron didn't do anything wrong but feed into what the media made him to be, and then subsequently get blamed for it.

I think doing 'The Decision' was stupid, and that his pr team (or homie Maverick, whatever) should've headed that off, but we had already made him the most important person in the sport. So what's an ESPN special to the most important person to the sport? Nothing.

But America for some reason values loyalty in their athletes. They expect it out of them, even though, as we saw with Peyton Manning and Jim Irsay, these teams will drop you and never look back. So it became, "oh, LeBron left Cleveland, he's not loyal, fukk that negro." LeBron was just looking out for self. For basketball reasons, I don't like teaming up to win a 'chip, but he did what he had to do. I'm not about to vilify the man.

nikkas don't give a fukk about loyalty. That's just a convenient buzzword to put out in front of the hate when it's convenient just like "arrogant" or "greedy".

Lebron is an idiot though. He was given advice from everyone and didnt listen. He thought he was good money. Lebron is yet to grasp the idea of how America works according to athletes. And I say America because this si the only place where we really overvalue athletes and paint them as role models. In Europe, they know from jump that soccer stars are going to act crazy and wild, and fukk a whole bunch of bytches and just be loose cannons. Here we get shocked by the smallest of things. OH MY GOD Tiger Woods fukks other bytches? HOW DARE HE? How dare he be a rich athlete with every female wanting to fukk him and not succumb to his primal urges? Americans need to re-prioritize their values
because this is why we're so fukked as a nation economically, physically, mentally, intellectually, etc. and we have the resources ans money to be number 1 in everything but we're not even close. We overvalue the fukk out of entertainment as a society. That is something I can say everyone int he world does now. The same men who were slaves to the stadium in Roman times are now making more than those who watch them. Of course the money men still own them but I dont understand a man gets 100 million dolalrs to play a fukking game. He initially contributes nothing to society but entertainment and we're paying him 100 million dollars? And why did we conform to rising prices for jerseys, tickets, etc. I can go on for days about this because its not just sports. Its everything. And ppl wonder why shyt is the way it is now. The number for everything went up around us but the paycheck stayed the way it was at a certain point causing this total fukkup. Everyone thought more money was gonna be made and they were wrong. The avg salary is actually going down man. :snoop: fukk sports right now nikkas tryna eat out here. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/09/business/economy/as-recovery-drags-on-income-and-wealth-lag.html
This is what I'm talking about.
I'm going off topic but fukk it. Sohh was fukking up and the people chose the coli. Overnight sohh just died. The people, the MAJORITY, made the decision that they weren't gonna put up with it anymore.

If we as a people decided to do the same thing on a much bigger level (boycott big box stores and support local businesses, Purchase gasoline from smaller vendors, etc) the effects could be dramatic.

Owners and athletes make millions of dollars cause we've chosen to pay outrageous prices. If we stopped owners wouldn't make that money and it would trickle down. Athletes making ten times more than doctors, care givers, law enforcement and others who ensure our safety and saving lives. We gotta step back and start looking at the garbage we prioritize.

So are you going to pretend that even former NBA players weren't coming out saying him going to a team with another top 5 player and another top 20 player was some hoe shyt? I personally ain't mad at the man for doing it. Why try to put yourself at a disadvantage if you don't have to. When it comes time to write his place in history all that counts is how many rings you get, now how you went about getting those rings. But to act like him teaming up with Bosh and Wade wasn't the easy route is just being dishonest. Most of the title runs over the past 25 years or so was spearheaded by having 2-3 superstars and solid players around them.

As far as the narrative of him being what's wrong with today's players, the media loves to spin the tales of how players back in the day played for crumbs and played for the love of the game. And the #1 thing Lebron has made clear is that he's all about building his brand and making as much money as possible. Doing that doesn't fit the little box that the media tries to paint these athletes in. They just basically want the athletes to shut up and go entertain.

Lebron has been a model athlete and is showing that you should use your athletic talent for more than just being an athlete.

Thats why he took less money to go to Miami :childplease:

What Lebron didn't do is live up to those outlandish expectations the media built for him. That's what the media does. They're all about ratings and money. They build you up and tear you down. If Lebron would have been clutch in the 4th quarter and won a championship or two by now, they would be going crazy with this chosen one thing.

If anything, Lebron got one of the longest leashes. I remember on Cleveland, he never got any criticism. Everything was always the fault of his teammates. You tried to bring up the lack of clutchness... naw, he's just tired because he has to do so much. Naw, it's his teammates. Now he's on a superteam, so he doesn't have any excuses and that same flaw is still prevalent.

But watch, if the Heat win, the media will jump RIGHT BACK on that lebron bandwagon and talk about how he is finally living up to his potential and turning that corner.
But you can't just up and leave a team and join a team of the best young players in the league

they should. how many people can play professional sports at a high level? how many people can put on a uniform and badge and drive a car and beat nikkas with nightsticks?

Iverson is that dude. Wonders if the media will turn on KD, he may be the next duncan in terms of media treatment.

nikkas refuse to answer the question of what LeBron did wrong. What did he do?

He didn't do shyt except be a rich black basketball player during a time where sports journalism (As with all journalism) is at an all time low. That's really it.

All the other stuff is just nonsense.

We don't know jack shyt about Lebron James really. But fukking "storylines" have people thinking they can dissect this dudes mental psych and cognitive abilities.
