I kind of understand, though, because I cheer for smaller mrkt teams, too. Tough being a fan of those kind of teams. The OKC shyt doesn't happen too often. (It remains to be seen how sustainable this current version of the team is. Hell of alot of good luck in the draft [Portland drafting Oden] and other draft choices panning out quite well [Westbrook, Ibaka, and Harden]. To have the kind of long-term success that a team like San Antonio has had requires a fantastic organization and alot of good fortune. Alot of those smaller mrkt teams aren't always fantastically organized or managed, and don't always have the best fortune.
Anyway, you and your folk from NE, OH never LOVED LeBron James. If you truly loved him, you would cheer for him wherever he played. You all had that conditional love for LeBron. We love you
if... That "if" for y'all was
if you're wearing a Cavs uni. You got wrapped up in that warm and fuzzy feeling he made you feel because he made the Cavs relevant again. He turned y'all into a contender. He helped y'all win for awhile. Because of your affinity for the team, this probably made you feel special and important. You probably felt a sense of pride because "one of your own" was on top of the game. You should blame yourself. You invested your emotions into a man/team/city/sport. We all do at some point and to some extent. You're just another casualty of fan-dom in the cruel world of sports. So I'm not shytting on you. We've all felt it.
You should just know that LeBron didn't and doesn't owe you shyt. There's good and bad that comes from being a fan. Sometimes the shyt deals you some letdown. You should know that now. All LeBron did was make a career move, albeit one that wasn't in your favor. shyt happens. Life goes on. You should move on, too.
