It's the same reason that the players get all the media pressure whenever there is a lockout. It starts out with some in the media saying the players have the right to stand up for themselves and that the owners are being greedy. As the games start being in danger of being missed the narrative turns to how the athletes need to be happy they are paid to play a game.

They pay a n**** $100 mil cause NBA is making a GRIP. $100 mil ain't really s*** compared to what the "owner" is making. Schools are important, but they don't directly make a profit, so therefore the people working there will only make a salary relative to the profitability of the institution and the difficulty of replacing them. You not gonna just replace LeBron James, but you can call a substitute teacher in that will show up in an hour. That's why. They get paid that much because their labor is generating billions.

I wish there was some kind of Department of Fairness to regulate everyone's salaries, but for now all we have is good ole Capitalism to decide who gets what.

As far as athletes making 100mil...thats because the industry is making so much more. An athlete getting paid 100mil is fair compensation (not all athetes make this mcuh by the way)

I agree that we over value entertainment. Yeah the price of everything went up but salaries stayed down...but you know whos fault that is...ours. I agree its not right but the way I see life now is this.

All a salary is, is an allowance for grown folks. If we all invested in our selves (small businesses like back in the old days) corporations wouldn't have the leverage to fukk people over.

If instead of a gang of Walmarts everywhere, there were small owned business people who sold the things we need. People would have more power. Corporations wouldn't be able to be so close to politicians and fukk us with legislation as well.

I agree with you on everything you said but I feel that we (the general population) should take accountability and start our own businesses and get our power back.

Wal Mart is designed to destroy small businesses. I can only guess you are not old enough to remember life before Wal Mart. All those abandoned stores in the downtown area of your city used to be hardware stores and cobblers until Wal Mart opened up. If given the choice between a well made American mom and pop hammer for $20 or a Chinese Wal Mart special hammer for $9, America had chosen the cheaper option. No possible way to put your mom and pop store against Wal Mart. You gonna order 12 hammers for the next month, Wal is gonna order 120,000.
