The thing I don't get is alot of people here defend lebron but shyt on kobe for whatever reason. The media turned on him after the rape case and white people had a field day with it. Kobe was too much of a villian so he was able to work through all that and win but, its ironic the same people who are defending how the media portrays lebron in turn shyt on kobe another black athlete.

I admittedly forget about him sometimes, but I miss A.I. and the honesty he consistently came with.

The media wasn't exactly friendly to Kobe BEFORE that rape case. Some of that was Kobe's fault and some of that was Shaq's.

And people that defend Kobe hate on Lebron also.

It's a shame how people's love for shaq makes them bias and ignore the truth of the situation.

The I in Team
nikkas refuse to answer the question of what LeBron did wrong. What did he do?

He didnt do anything wrong other than make a decision for himself. Society wanted to win a championship on his own. He decided to make the bet possible pairing to help him win a chip. No different than what kg and ray allen did. Society hated that, as well as celebrating the pairing before winning. Now society hates him.

My thing is society loves an underdog and seeing successful people fail. There's not much in between. Either climb the mountain, or fall from the top to your death.

Werd up.

What LeBron did was QUIT on the people from his CRIB. Imagine Biggie saying: "F*** Brooklyn, f*** East Coast. I want some Dre beats so I am going to Death Row and start claiming the West". I am a mere internet rapper and I have been living out of my home state for ten years now. Even if I stay out in the field for the rest of my days, I will ALWAYS rep for the crib. Anyone with any pride in their home should understand this.

It was serendipitous that Bron landed in Cleveland, but I can't understand how he could ever bail once he was in place and once he was close enough to touch it a couple times. Win lose or draw, the real champion is the guy who laces up even if the odds are against.

I am in NE OH and that is what I have against him. He crushed so many people who loved him so. I ain't saying he should never leave, but don't play that role like "can't we still be friends". No n****. You made your choice, don't expect us to root for you.

If it's f*** me, then n**** f*** you.

Pippen and Grant were nobodies and nobody expected them to turn into who they were. It ain't like Jordan got a bunch of big free agent signings or anything. So the big market thing has shyt to do with the Bulls winning titles. Hell even when they got Rodman it's because the rest of the league didn't want shyt to do with him because of his stint in San Antonio.

Larry Hughes, Mo Williams, and Jamison were all borderline all stars before they got to Lebron. Plus nobody wanted to sign there since Lebron never would commit to staying in Cleveland so he made his own bed in that regards.

Hating on somebody because they think Lebron took the easy way out is pure dikk riding. Like I said I ain't mad he did it. It was a boss move. At the same time I understand the criticism of it.

Pippen is a HOFer, b. If he wasn't a HOFer then Jordan wouldn't be the GOAT unless Chicago brought in another HOFer to help him win championships. That's the bottom line. Larry Hughes, Mo Williams or an aging Antawn Jamison wouldn't have gotten it done.

I agree with you about LeBron not committing, which is why I blame Dan Gilbert for being so dumb. He should have traded LeBron. It was obvious he wasn't coming back. But Amare didn't want to go there with an expiring contract. Bosh as a FA said he wanted to play with LeBron, just NOT in Cleveland.

Mike played in the Chi. Magic played in La La Land. Bird played in Beantown. LeBron? :sadbron:

I still wouldn't call it taking the easy way out. He surrounded himself with a better supporting cast, a necessity for anyone to win a championship. But between Bosh and Wade, they had ZERO playoff series wins the 4 years before they teamed up with LeBron. In that same span Bron went to the Finals once, conference finals twice and conference semis once. So let's not act like LeBron couldn't hold his own so he joined this established power because it was nothing like that at all. When Bron signed they only had 2 players under contract, Wade and Bosh. The rest of those guys were just roster fillers. A lot of work needed to be done.

I am in NE OH

That's really all you had to say. The rest is understood.

But being from NE OH, you should know Cleveland ain't his home. He's from Akron. Don't tell me about how "close" they are in proximity, as I have spent much time in both cities. Yes they're close, but so are Springfield and Shelbyville. And they hate each other. Bron already said he couldn't stand the city of Cleveland growing up. Every 20-something black male I know in Akron feels the same way. It's us vs them up that way so you're kidding yourself if you think LeBron had any type of loyalty to the city of Cleveland.

And how bout Delonte tappin his moms? Yeah, a lot of loyalty going on in that locker room.

A.I. is no dummy.. Reckless but not stupid.. He had a chrystal ball on the psychological makeup of cacs and c00ns...

"They are waiting!!"

Indeed...

He didn't need a crystal ball, he just needed to be in a bowling alley with racists. He already knew by age 16-17 what the deal was.

Wal Mart is designed to destroy small businesses. I can only guess you are not old enough to remember life before Wal Mart. All those abandoned stores in the downtown area of your city used to be hardware stores and cobblers until Wal Mart opened up. If given the choice between a well made American mom and pop hammer for $20 or a Chinese Wal Mart special hammer for $9, America had chosen the cheaper option. No possible way to put your mom and pop store against Wal Mart. You gonna order 12 hammers for the next month, Wal is gonna order 120,000.

Nope. The rich are gonna continue to suck every penny they can out of us a hoard it until... some French revolution s*** pops off.

Im old enough to remember a time before walmart. I remember ValueCity :pachaha:

I fully understand why major chains are dominate and small business are becoming more non-existant. I understand that people would rather pay for a cheaper product made in china than to patronize a small business.

What I am saying is...because of all those things we have the issues that the poster above me mentioned. (prices are getting higher while wages stay the same/get lower)

If the mentality of "support small business" was prominent then we wouldn't have to worry about major chains running small businesses into the ground...as you said your self, the rich continue to get rich until a revolution jumps off.

:birdman:

i dont hate LeBron at all. I just wish he'd be himself and say how he felt every once in awhile instead of trying to always say/do the "right" thing. I actually hope he wins a ring this year

Lebron is really in a situation where he can't fukking win. That's just how the NBA works these days. If you're an elite player in the NBA they WILL turn on you at some point.

Don't think Durant's turn aint coming. Right now anytime something goes wrong they put all the blame on Westbrook but mark my words they're gonna go in on Durant soon.
