Speaking of P, one of the harsh realities I've accepted is that his fall-off is greatly exeggerated because of his performances on the Mobb albums post-Murda Muzik.
If you listen to his solo albums it's clear that his energy went into those, and if you read the book it's clear him and Hav simply weren't that close anymore after MM.
Not saying he DIDN'T fall off, but his solo albums are mostly piff for a veteran - unfortunately they'll go unnoticed and the Jay-Z thing didn't help, of course.
Exactly. P had the worst fall off of any great rapper. But him falling off really made us all appreciate just how truly amazing he was on the mic in his prime.Let's be honest , bro...the main reason P solo work was dope was because of Alchemist. His raps fell off badly. EVERY last single one of his solo joints would have been universally accepted classics if he was rhyming the way he did 94-99. EVERY LAST ONE. A prime P solo over Alchemist beats would have beenX 10. Not saying that he still didn't have his moments post '99 but if you consider how fukking brilliant he was in his prime you got to say he fell off bad.
No slander...Rest In Paradise to the God.
Rap is for kids, wanna be down white people, ignant nikkas and thots. I stopped being the demographic long ago and I'm fine with never copping a new rap album ever again
Nowadays most fools skim through music rather than listen to it![]()
That MOST of the younger generation. Mostly that 16 and under crowd don't wanna hear 80s and 90s hip hop. As much as I try to put them on, they are stuck in their ways.
R&B is so trash.
Nyggas cant even say I love you in a record now. smh
