ron simmons should've at least gotten a decent ic champ run. at the very least.
alex wright
big show is prolly one of vinces bigger fukkups. when he signed him he said off the bat that wcw didn't know how to book a giant and that he'd show them how to do it. yall know how that turned out.
mvp should've at least gotten the whc when that was still 1b in the wwe

christian had the career he was supposed to have and despite his talents i always got the feeling that smarks only really dikkrode him that hard because he didn't get pushed as hard as edge. also the killswitch/unprettier/impaler was always too unrealistic as a finisher. and him losing to orton two days after getting the whc was funny as hell.

full
Neg pending.

Kurt Angle - wasted years of his career being a drug addict and prostituting out the angle slam in TNA when he could have been literally the GOAT.

Shelton Cesaro and Rhodes aren't underachievers. They just didntt/aren't getting the pushes they should be getting. And when they have gotten pushed and had some momentum the bookers have cut their legs right up from under them. A few years ago Cody was on fire and by now he should have had a reign or two with the belt.

The Unapproachable East
The entire 2005-2008 WWE generation that consisted of:

Shelton Benjamin
Carlito
Morrison
Mr. Kennedy
MVP
Bobby Lashley
Cryme Tyme

This particular gen was supposed to be the future, the power players and main eventers of WWE today. But they all just petered out in the WWE.

-Chris Kanyon - he could talk on the mic, killed it with the DDP gimmick, was one of the most creative wrestlers in-ring for his time, can plug him anywhere on the card. WWF could have done some nice things with him, unfortunately since he was a WCW guy, he was buried.

-Alex Wright - perfect gimmick, just in the wrong company. WWE been trying to make there own Alex Wright on the low. (Rockabilly, that Gabriel dancer in WWE-ECW, etc.)

-The Giant/Big Show - yes he is more of an overachiever, but he was a fat fukk who could have been greater. He was athletic as hell, but never motivated. :what: How do you go from being WWF champ in late 99 to getting sent to OVW. From 2000-2002 he did nothing of note until Heyman saved his career literally. :mjlol: The Undertaker had to call his ass out on that Canadian shoot interview in 2002 to wake his ass up for being out of shape and gassing out in beginning of matches.

-Randy Orton - Yes he won the title about 12 times, but he should have been greater from a legacy standpoint. He should be where Cena is at, or even better, but he was a fukk up that had everything handed to him and still was fukking up. If he was in the 80's, he would be remembered as one of the best of his time. Since the time he has mellowed out and not a headache any more for the office recently, his window of being a money maker is numbered and done now. He shouldn't be remembered for his boring matches now and only showing up whenever to put on a good match or cutting a good promo when he wants to. If he lived up to his potential, he should have been remembered as one of the best, not just a guy you thought could do more or when you could feel like you could say there are 50+ other wrestlers you like better when putting him on an all time list.

-Billy Gunn - With the way he was booked, he should have been a WWF champ. He was actually going to be the guy to run over Austin originally, but he just couldn't cut a promo to save his life without Road Dogg, and The Rock & Edge just ended any type of meaningfulness of him ever being a singles star.

-Big Bossman - One of my favorite heels ever. Should have just gotten a nice short run with the belt from the Big Show. Easily one of the most hate-able wrestlers ever. He bounced around too much to be a steady heel. Also, showed to be a very credible babyface as well. Can someone tell me why he disappeared from the WWF in 2000 after the Tazz PPV on Backlash 2000?

-Chris Hero - IWC favorite, but literally preferred being a fat fukk than wanting to stay in shape. He should be on the WWE main roster, but prefers catering more than wrestling.

-Curt Henning - Could have been the GOAT, but injuries ruined that. He literally could do everything and anything in wrestling.

-Mike Awesome - Should have been remembered as one of the best big men in wrestling, especially in the ring.

Vince misused the Powers of Pain .. he tried to set them up as a fake road warriors who would always loose to demolition... Vince was big on that back in the day.. he would set an act similiar to a NWA character only to have his home grown guy constantly humiliate him...

SLOW DOWN.

orton wouldve been lucky to be a curtain-jerker in the '80s.

As long as we talking Shane Douglas and not the corny ass Dean Douglas WWF run...

shoot. i cant hate on dean douglas either.

he had the kliq SHOOK.

Remember Hogan held the title for like 3-4 years .. I remember watching some documentary and Vince did want Hogan to drop the strap... He would've won it back but Hogan didnt want it drop it period... All that ended up happening was Curt got a few wins at some house shows.. but back then if you didnt see it on TV it didnt happen

one of those matches did make it to wrestlefest '90, even tho it was a countout, it was a rare L for the huckster.

i wonder, was it any coincidence that mr perfect got sonned by brutus beefcake at mania vi?

That first one when he beat Benoit for the belt :banderas:

Also, Legend Killer Orton RKOing old ladies and spitting on Harley race is one of the most memorable things in WWE ever

the first one lasted a month.

the legend killer gimmick always came off as cheap heat. brilliant idea, but i just couldnt get into it like that.

Aside from Shelton Benjamin i'd have to go with..

JTG & Shad.
MVP
(a losing streak gimmick? Seriously?) :aicmon:

R-truth: Truth's been cast as a comedy act and a guy that sees an invisible child. It's a shame, as breh can cut a great promo when motivated. Just check out his early work in TNA or his 2011 heel turn for proof.

Dem promos tho :banderas:

I wanna add Titus o Neil to that list but it's still early days. (Actually don't want him to make the cut cause dude is dope, real humble and if used properly can make a huge impact.)

Others
Kaval/Low ki
John Morrision
Bobby Lashley
Naomi
Muhammad Hassan?

Edit: I know it might sound crazy but can i add Mark Henry to that list? The reason why is because he's never won the big one and to be called "the world's strongest man" but never to hold the main belt is cray.
