Where did the mentality that every assistant coach in the league is obligated to be a HC at some point come from?
Exactly. Most assistants are assistants for a reason. If you haven’t moved up in your job, ANY job, after twenty years it’s probably because nobody sees you as any more than what you currently are. Hard truths.

Politically correct bullshyt. :mjlol:

That fukking fakkit Silver won’t stop until half of the coaches, refs, and GMs are women. He’ll probably try to force in a female player in there too. :skip:

This will also put a dent in the hot take sports talk industry since you’re not allowed to criticize women. :lolbron:

All just say that there are 4 black head coaches in the NBA and one of them is interim but the "NBA Cares":stopitslime:
Where you get 4 from?

Doc Rivers, Monty Williams, Nate McMillan, J.B. Bickerstaff, Dwane Casey, Tyronn Lue, Stephen Silas. Plus there are like 4-5 spots vacant right now.

She’s put in the work for a hot minute, hope it works out for her

Will only enrichen the basketball knowledge of women, which enrichens the experience for everyone

Good for her. While I agree it's not enough black coaches getting opportunity I think she's probably ready.

explain how 'enriching the basketball knowledge of women' whatever that means, enriches the experience for everyone. men have done just fine for like a hundred years without women in their space and don't need women whatsoever. it's women that got to be all up under whatever men are doing.

My fault but the point still stands. A majority black sports that prides itself of being understanding and at the forefront of issues but only 6 head coaches are black. I don't see anymore than maybe 2 of the vacant spots going to a black coach so now we our up to 8? Stan Van Gundy got off the couch somewhere and was gifted a team with one of the league most talented young players. When was the last time a black coach was able to do that? No offense to Hammon but I has a lot of work to do when it comes to their diversity and hiring practice.
