Same goes for football players, basketball players, catchers in baseball, etc...
People don't understand... These cats don't just lift this shyt everyday.. They train for it..

Just like a boxer trains his body to take punches, or a football player trains his body to get hit with the impact of a car crash. You just don't go out there and do it.

Every athlete shyt gets fukked up eventually when they get 50+... Some luckier than others. No different from marathon or distance runners who's shins/ankles/knees are fukked when they get older. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens

A lot of people think Strongman competitors are fat dumb guys but it takes a tremendous amount of hard work, dedication and practice of form to be able to lift the amount of weights that they do.

A few thousand people comprise the NFL/NHL/MLB...etc.

It's probably a few dozen men (if that) in the world who are legitimate contenders for World's Strongest Man or the Arnold Strongman Classic.

Guys talk about application or functionality and relate it to something like fighting. Do people realize how unlikely the odds are that they'll ever be in a fight? Do people think that Adrian Peterson is running around those cones right now in case some bouncer at the club gets bold? :what:

Everyone's different but trust me, if I was in a club and I had to choose someone to fight, I'd pick the entire Lakers roster before I took on Brian Shaw.

:whoa:

And not just that, nikka talk about streetfighting when these cats probably have a higher punch output than the average nikka. And running/regular cardio doesn't mean shyt compared to boxing or even MMA fighting. They mostly do the cardio to drop bodyfat or lose muscle. Of course it helps with endurance but try hitting them pads correctly at a high volume for 5 rounds or hitting the heavybag correctly for 5 rounds.

I don't even run anymore but when I did, boxing helped my runtime more than my runtime helped my boxing.

Dude is fat
Nah, breh.

Those dudes are lean as hell, they just aren't as lean as bodybuilders.
But even bodybuilders are not as ripped as they seem. They're only insanely ripped for like 1 week out of the year.

Phil Heath and Kai Greene carry more fat over the year as they build muscle.
