Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Eh, i'll agree to an extent.

The question i'll propose to you is how much has the shift in rules allowing perimeter players more freedom to operate from 15ft and out.

How good would some of these players be 10-15 years ago when the rules were different and you were allowed more contact on the outside

Durant, Melo, LeBron, Wade, Kobe, Rose etc would all be just as good with the older rules.

Case in point, Kobe's shooting numbers have stayed pretty much the same despite playing before and after the zone & handcheck rules. Imagine if you couldn't shade some of these guys with what is basically a box and 1....

Eh, in Kobe's case it's difficult for him to stand on his own because a lot of his game clearly has been patterned on Jordan, down to movements.

Besides, his fans are very easy to make mad :smugbiden:

while that is true, Jordan bit a lot from guys like David Thompson and Walter Davis. Its never held against him (and thats mostly because those guys were stars before 1980 so they may as well not exist).

Kobe emulated Jordan, but he is still the 2nd best 2guard ever.

As for his fans getting mad, I get it.:myman:

Lebron cannot guard the center position effectively.

1-4, sure.

But Roy Hibbery would feast on Lebron. Brook Lopez would feast Lebron. Nene would feast on Lebron. Even Dwight Howard would feast on Lebron.

The only player, that I have seen, that could guard 1-5 with some decency was KG.

It's :mindblown: to think he hasn't peak yet.

And, he might actually surpass his not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven... proclamation. :gladbron:

Yeah those guys are the elite of the elite, i was referring to some of the lesser players.

Guys like MJ, Drex, Pippen, Penny, Stock, Hill, KJ, Mash, Harper, etc.. IMO would be even better in today's game with the rules in place and how they appease players of that caliber.

Let's get some things straight, MJ was a more physical defender because the rules back then allowed him to be. LeBron is playing in an age where offensive players are allowed to flourish do the mere fact that he's a perennial candidate for DPOTY despite primarily being a perimeter defender is absurd. Do you people really think Lebron wouldn't be shutting down players like Craig Ehlo, Randy Wittman, Kiki Vandwhege, Rodney McCray, Danny Ainge, and Chuck Person?

And imagine those people trying to guard him?!

That being said, MJ is a better and more creative scorer by quite a large amount, he's better at reading the passing lanes, he's a good passer, he's amazing off the ball, he has a better first step, and he's a lockdown perimeter defender.

LeBron is a better finisher, better passer, more versatile defender, has better court vision, and he can do a lot for his team.

Both are better than Kobe, MJ is still better than Bron but Bron is a top 3 talent of all time.

Athletically, yeah he's better than Jordan. And he's better at getting his teammates involved. But when it comes down to the last 5 minutes of the game, as all NBA games do, and the pressure is on, I'll take MJ over anyone.

I getting sick of this shyt:comeon:

nikkas aint see Jordan Play like that; it's no where fukking close, Jordan could kill you from anywehre. I have 0 fears of Lebron winning games on contested jumpsots or even going to the ft line

It's easy to dominate when 80% of your points come from lay ups and dunks. Lebron is a knee injury from irrelevancy............................[/QUOTE

Jordan could kill you from anywhere and definitely is the more versatile scorer but how can you knock bron for making the higher percentage shots? That's kinda like folks criticizing Mawse for not feasting across the middle more during his prime. If the D cant stop you with your strengths, abuse they ass. :manny:
