i'm 20 so i got into nas' music late.in 2004.i heard about him b4 with ''i can", one mic n ''made u look".but i was more into the whole gunit/shady/aftermath wave.it reached a time i wanted more poetry from rap not just some white dude rapping about rapin his mum.that wasnt in my culture so i bought a bootleg street's disciple cd (you cant get a nas cd in africa plus we were 'poor' anyway so sue me, nikka).ever since i heard "the rest of my life" and the message to the feds i was like
this nikka on some poetic shyt.went and bought all th bootleg nas shyt from ilmatic to lost tapes.still
to this day.
