Start a franchise: RG3 OR Cam

People who are saying, "do you see what they did with Cam last year" are no better than the racists who were like "RG3 is the next Cam."


Cam and RG3 are nothing alike as players. Cam can pass the ball, but RG3 has a better arm. His has a very accurate deep ball, a very quick release, and he doesnt make stupid decisions. The int he threw yesterday was the first bad pass he has made all year, and even then that was more on Logan Pauson for stopping his route.

RG3 throws the ball into spots, not into the players and is accurate. And his release is only better'd by Aaron Rodgers. The ball comes out of RG3's hands fast. He is a completing 70% of his passes this year. Last year, Cam only completed 60%, and if you just want to look at his first 7 games, Cam was only a 61% passer those first 7 games.

and even tho Cam is a more powerful runner, RG3 is faster!

I dont say any of this to shyt on Cam, but RG3 is the better talent.

And naw. RGIII will NEVER experience the Cam treatment (or is it the Vince Young/Jamarcus treatment ). He's too good...

when you compare cams rookie season too what RGIII is doing right now its not even a contest IMO thats why i just went ahead an left that alone and made a choice based on physical gifts/ability + what the offense would look like besides the QB

Griff is a better runner and a better passer. That doesn't leave much room for Cam in this debate.

Its not even about numbers. Cam put up numbers last year but he never made plays like RG3. Not even close. Skins are 6/6 on 4th downs this year.

Griffin is looking elite becuz that offense can score on every possession and so far has given us a chance to win every game. Cam didn't do that last year...

The O-line, Alfred Morris and Kyle Shanahan all get a lot of credit cuz so far they have all over achieved. But RG3 is the reason for that...

Yup. The numbers argument can be made and RG3 would probably win that too.

But beyond that I'm talking about responsibility and just being a threat. They're giving him the rock on 3 and 6, 4 and 2 whatever and just saying "make something happen"...and he's killing defenses. And the biggest difference between him and Cam is that until he faced the defending champs, he wasn't making any mistakes. And even then he had them in position to win the game. Thats what being a playmaker is, thats bigger than youtube highlights...

Cam has great deep ball numbers. His only issue is the short passing game. RG3 deep ball numbers are below average. Most of RG3 passes are from playaction and misdirections.
