Funny thing is you don't even have to do a lot, brehs don't realize that. Go for a long walk once a day (like an half hour to an hour) mixed in with some calisthenics (push ups, pull ups, dips etc) and you'll be a lot better off than most Americans. You get something nice going all you have to do is remain consistent and watch your eating.

All Im doing is calisthenics at home and my body is already feeling better. Only been a couple of weeks and I can even see the difference in my physical appearance. I'm going hard every day though. The workout plan I'm on rarely gives me a day off. For the most part, it's 7 days a week at the moment.

I don't plan to keep that level of intensity forever, but I've done this routine before and it got me into shape quick and I'm trying to do it quickly again.

I'm also fasting at the same time.

This dude's channel is great if you're looking for info. all his videos are super short and straight to the point and he only uploads when he has something quick to say:

I'm old and sick (renal failure), yet I still work out. I walk 3 miles every other day, and work with weights and calisthenics (limited by my AV fistula) the days I do not walk. I've seen other brothers my age in my same health circumstances blow up into whales and I definitely am not going to live obese in my 50s when I have never been that way previous to my illness.

Come on, man, get outta here with this stuff. This is the type of stuff that dissuades people from working out. You don't need a trainer or a meal plan.
Need is a strong word, but most people would be better and more disciplined with it to start, particularly if there grown ass adults and not already active.

Folks don't have money for personal trainers and meal plans. And telling them that they need that or should have that is giving them a way out mentally. Thats not what this thread is about.

This thread is about getting up and moving, no excuses. If they can afford a trainer and a meal plan, we don't have to tell folks that. They'll do it. But I guarantee you that the majority of folks in this thread won't be able to do that.

So let's just keep it simple.

I'd add don't neglect cardio/open air activity.

I work out almost every day and it's dope but I REALLY slacked off on cardio this last couple of years. I came back to it recently with HIITs and just playing ball outside and man oh man :wow:

I gotta admit, this after glow and energy boost you get after a good cardio session is unfukkwithable. I felt good and happy asf for the rest of the day AND the day after. Clear-minded. And that's despite lifting everyday. It's just not the same feeling for me. Cardio hits different.

Sure bro. @Swirv actually put me on to it. Search for "super saiyan challenge day x" (replace x with whatever number day want. It's a 30 day youtube program by this cat named Broly and every single time I need to hurry and get into shape, I do this and it gets me right every single time.

Broly is a freak of nature, that dude will push out 200 pushups in one set like it ain't nothing but the last time I did this program, I got up to doing somewhere around 60 or 70 pushups in a single set, and I was doing 150 squats in a single set.

Something about just trying to do it along with him gets you so amped that you start seeing incredible strength gains that you never would have seen.

At least thats how it was with me. I used to think I was doing something if I did 100 pushups a day. This brotha Broly was doing 1000. Made me say okay, I gotta step it up. I got to somewhere around 400 pushups a day consistently back when I was doing it. I plan to hit 1000 this time.

The majority of this board claims to make well over 6 figures, so I don't know about that.

They've had a dozen "ways out" already, if saying they should seek extra structure to get them started is their excuse, they weren't going to do the work regardless.
