If you're already working out regularly, then please disregard everything I'm about to say.

But for those of you who are not, start working out, please. If you are not working out, you are putting your health, your life at risk. Shoot, you're even making your mental health bad.

As men, we need to keep our bodies in shape, keep active, and stay fit. You never know when it might be time for you to run, to fight, or whatever you need to do to protect both you and your family. Not only that, think about how your body doesn't bend, doesn't move the way you want it to or need it to, plus the fact that you have no endurance.

Listen to me when I tell you this: Your body needs to be healthy. Being fit isn't a want. It's a necessity. It's not even an option.

And I'm not coming at you from a place of judgment. I'm the person who always works out, gets in shape somewhat, and then I fall off. And man, my body be feeling terrible if I'm being honest. Getting winded walking up a hill.

Man, I was in a situation last month, a life threatening situation, and I had to run. I was able to move but not the way I should have been. Luckily, everything wound up turning out okay for me and my loved ones. But it could have easily turned out differently.

When I work out, I feel so much better. My body feels better, and when I eat, it feels like the food is actually strengthening my body instead of making my body lazy. When I squat down or get on my knees for something, I don't feel as "heavy". I just all around feel better.

And my mental health is also starting to improve bit by bit.

Not to mention the looks the ladies give you when you're in shape. And I saved that one for last on purpose, because you shouldn't be trying to get in shape for women. It should be for you. But it's an added benefit in a plethora of blessings that your body gets when you get in shape.

I work out 3-4 days a week at the gym.

Working out is good but only when you have a real purpose with it.

You need a trainer(at least in the beginning) and a meal plan to get the best results.(If you can't get a trainer, look up workout routines and commit to them.)

I had to revamp my whole lifestyle when I started working out.

Funny thing is you don't even have to do a lot, brehs don't realize that. Go for a long walk once a day (like an half hour to an hour) mixed in with some calisthenics (push ups, pull ups, dips etc) and you'll be a lot better off than most Americans. You get something nice going all you have to do is remain consistent and watch your eating.

Come on, man, get outta here with this stuff. This is the type of stuff that dissuades people from working out. You don't need a trainer or a meal plan.
