Yea man slight tangent but i work out on the regular and i think it’s part of why I’m so aggravated by the rise of ‘EVERYONE NEEDS THERAPY’ .

No, everyone needs a release. It can be therapy, but it can also be consistent workouts. I work out and it’s the reason for my self confidence and (relatively) carefree demeanor.

Tired of out of shape blsck women leading the charge that everyone needs therapy meanwhile having shyt diets and not in the gym. I did a lil personal audit and every single woman I’ve dealt with that didn’t naturally/consistently workout, were the main ones nagging and full of self doubt, which of course led to drama. It’s bc they had no release. It’s bc they struggled with weight gain and it effected their whole life view, etc. All this while they were in therapy ‘dOinG tHe Work’

What does a Navy PT routine look like?
I can’t find a good video, but my routine is 4 counts reps and 25 reps per set.

Ex: 1-2-3-1, 1-2-3-2, 1-2-3-4, etc.

So each rep is 4 motions and every set is multiplied by 4. So 25 = 100.

I start with stretching.

25 jumping jacks
25 toe touches
25 waist twists
25 chest bursters
25 shoulder circles forward
25 shoulder circles back
25 alternating lat pulls
25 burpees

25 regular count pushups
25 military style sit-ups (arms crossed on chest, feet planted, elbows touch knees every rep)

1 mile run

Yeah..I've been dealing with this as well and its gotten to the point of frustration. I'll be the first to admit that I live in a predominantly white neighborhood and I went to high school that was diverse with every race besides a few black people.

I bring this up because the black women in my life now they do everything besides work out. I mean some do but its more for show or they stop. And I know other races go through the same thing but I always put my people first and it gets frustrating hearing the excuses.

Sad that some women think that male up and cosmetic surgery is the way....but once again this is for the women in my life...I can't speak for everyone

Okay, yeah, my workout is way more intense than this, :whew: I had to be sure. The only thing they got that I don't do is the run. I've never been a runner but I know I need to get it in. :wow:

At my age I don’t need to do too much. During the lockdown I was in the gym going hard benching 4 reps of 315 for my last set and one day it clicked that I’m doing too much. My football and fighting days are behind me. I just need to be healthy and look right in my clothes.

I don’t feel any weaker.

No joke when I workout regularly i feel like slapping a bytch
For real i feel a lot of empathy for women beaters when I workout a lot

And i never slapped a bytch in my life. Yet
Edit: this post sounds crazy but what i really want to say is working out regularly makes me too damn aggressive

How many pounds do I need to lose before I can start going jogging/running without putting a lot of pressure on my knees?

I am 5'9" and weigh 240 pounds currently.
