can't drop him, his cap hit is almost 10 million. Not really worth it.
if we gotta pay it all might as well keep him around.

I think what happened in the last game was blown way out of proportion.

He'll be here next year. and unfortunately so will Philbin.
But I think what happened is a non issue at this point.

if they can trade him for something good then I'll take it. But I would rather keep him another year and play it out,. get rid of Hartline, resign clay, and draft a big body and we'll be alright on that side of the ball.
Sign a guy like Gore to go with miller and This offense would be hard to stop
I'd love for us to get into the Adrian Peterson discussion if we could but something tells me he ends up in a Cowboys uniform with Murray unhappy with his offer.

Gore would be ..okay i guess. Not sure how much he has left because we would want someone that can carry a load and he's been warn out in SF. Ive never been a fan of Lamar miller. I dont care for small speedy backs, period

Thats why I think Gore can work here, cuz we DO have Miller.
Miller is pretty good, and he's not that small, ppl think cuz he's fast he's small, but he averaged like 5 yards a carry this year.
Gore and Miller as a one two would be nice.

Do it for the U Hickey.....

He's simply not physical enough for me as a main RB :manny: I like the type of RB that will wear your defense down as the game goes on.

THAT I can definitely agree with, but thats why we have that big body to go with him.
Gore (like Moreno but better) would be perfect.
Just imagine taking Gore out and putting Miller in on third down with his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield or run it up the middle and make a nice 10-15 yard play...

Defenses wouldn't know what to do
Plus he's used to only getting 10-15 plays a game and can still be a legit problem.

Wheeler and Ellerbe should be next, Harty just dropped too many passes

sign Skuta and Cox away from SF, or one of the premier guards (bring Franklin from Denver back to his college site) and id consider it a good offseason as far as veteran personnel

I hope we can resign him for cheaper. He's slow but the white boy made some plays for us. Good chemistry with the QB. Just way overpaid

Gibson is gone

Dude was cool. He always found ways to get open in the middle of the field but just ... never got back in a groove after the injury

Can someone explain the TRANSITION tag and how it differs from Franchise tag?

Omar Kelly saying Doplpins are the frontrunner for Suh right now. Ross is involved and is going to pay.

Many league insiders view Miami as the front-runner for Suh's services because the Dolphins field a competitive team that has been 8-8 the past two seasons, feature a tropical location and no state taxes. And most importantly, owner Steve Ross' big-bidding approach to free agency, which has resulted in the Dolphins spending more money on the team's talent base since 2011 than all but one franchise, San Francisco 49ers.

Any deal a player makes under the transition tag with another team, the team who put the transition tag on the player can match that deal and keep the player. So if Clay goes out and makes a deal with another team the phins can match that deal and keep clay.

So it's pretty much like Restricted Free-Agency in the NBA, I see.
