I think I have the majority of the games I've been looking to buy, so I've been pretty good this time around. I'll probably pick up Far Cry 3 and Metro Last Light before it's all said and done.

I know I keep saying buy games, but fukk it...buy witcher 2 asap. That game is so fukking good. Plus, it's like 2 games in one, as a choice you make in the first third of the game leads down 2 completely different paths. shyt is so good
Noo Don't buy Saints Row 3 the game is terrible seriously. Appreciate the advice on Witcher. I will buy it when I get home. I wanted to buy Alan Wake but after watching videos on Youtube and how it looks, it seems dumb.
I like both games. I played the shyt outta Saints Row 3, but I can see why it's not for everyone.
Alan Wake is real good, however the sequel or dlc or whatever they called it (American Nightmare I think), fukking sucked. Alan Wake has a cool David Lynch like feel to it, a pretty good story, and interesting game play.
So dissapointed in 3 because 1 and 2 were good. Yeah I don't think I will buy even though it is cheap. What is your steam name? Any good multiplayer games to look out for?

Indie games are one of the reasons why PC gaming is great. They're equivalent to a talented unsigned artist's free mixtape. You miss some great music if you only listen to mainstream releases. Likewise you miss some great games if you only play big-name ones.
Unfortunately, my steam name can be linked to my real name, so I can't give it out on the board. My job is pretty vigilant at monitoring social media, so if they link my other name with ciggavelli, I could be in trouble, as it could be interpreted that I post "inappropriate content" on this board.
However, my way around this is to friend people in the future, when there is a smaller chance that the two names can be linked. So, if you get a strange friend request in the future, accept it.
(Yeah, I know I'm paranoid as fukk, but my job man... goddamn, their fukking surveillance and draconian rules

Almost bought Witcher 2 last night for 50% off, was like slow down it will be 75 again. Wake up and it is a flash sale.
always wait for the last day, or a flash/daily deal, to buy any of those games that are on sale for the duration of the event. the flash/daily deals tend to repeat, and like I said before, in the past the last day or two is usually an 'encore sale', where the popular games get heavily discounted one last time. it's smart move by Valve, because they probably gather a lot of data over the course of the sale as far as what sold at what price (and what didn't), and then take one more opportunity to cash in on that
I haven't bought anything yet, but I might buy Dues EX in 4 hours if it wins this round.
I really wanted XCOM to win that vote but the community apparently did not feel the same way
