Fun driving isn't all about torque and acceleration though, not sure why people keep bringing that point up. It's about feedback which flawed ICE cars give. That's why some guys opt for a manual transmission, even though it's slower than automatics today.
So is the answer no?

Lmao fam what kind of feel you trying to get out of a modern car if its not a Porsche or some other GT car? The steering in most cars today is either light as hell (no feel) or comically heavy feeling for a "sporty" experience, all done on purpose by a computer.

Lol what? There isn’t an “engine” in electric cars it’s just a gigantic alternator.

I know...:comeon: but it would be a waste to NOT have some sort of electric hemi engine creation...

Alternator...:scust: can't believe tesla was beating hellcats off the line with these...

Have you actually driven an electric car? they’re quite fun to drive. Mainly because of the low end torque you get from an electric motor. Makes them very quick which makes them fun to drive in the actual conditions you find yourself driving in everyday.

I'm sure we all driven a bumper cart or a golf cart before. Speed is not only what makes the car fun. It the sounds of the engine, exhaust, air intake, turbo spools or a hearing a super charge whine , driving manual, feeling bumps on the road, raw power , feed backs while taking a curve at high speed. EVs are soul less. Imaging buying an EV lambo or a ferrari that would sound dead quiet like a model 3.

I would never drive or own an EV. I don't car how fast they accerlate from a dig or how cool looking it or its fancy bells and whistles tech. Have you heard about Apple ( makers of Iphones) is planning on jumping into the ev game by releasing a car with no steering wheel, gas or brake pedals? :hhh:

That shyt is demonic. I rather whip around in a buggy

If ya don't like driving don't buy a car. Use uber or lyft for christ sake.

The Muscle Car engine will still exists but its gonna be powered by a battery not fuel...:manny: its definitely gonna be different

I see what you mean but it's going to be like another Mustang E. Battery is going to replace the engines. All it will take is a spark to get these cars moving. No oxygen, fossil fuel, carbon, engine oil, etc etc

They just trying to get ahead of the curve in the EV phase.

This isn't really about Tesla. Most automakers been had electric cars before Tesla was even thought about. Electric cars been around since the 60s. But the oil companies would lobby governments to kill any laws to help move to electric.

shyt in the late 70s president Jimmy Carter was trying to get laws passed to move to electric cars and get off of oil dependence.

What has happened is there has been a large global push to stop global warming from the public. The governments and oil companies can no longer hold out and so we see governments around the world screaming uncle and saying let's slowly get off this oil.

But at the same time these billionaires, oil companies and governments know that there is a lot of money to make off of EV so they are pivoting. Realize electric cars cost more than gas powered cars so manufacturers know that this can help their bottom line. That gas car goes for 30k can now be sold for 60k if its electric.

Finally this doesn't mean we totally move from oil. We need oil for jets, rockets that sent satellites to orbit and ships that move cargo around the world. So a oil company can pivot and make money off of renewable energy like electric and oil energy. So they get more bang for their buck.

It's all a hustle.
