You can get some lsd whine out of ev’s…..but yeah the sound of open header v8’s are unique and part of the fun of owning a modified car. Unfortunately gas powered cars will only remain on the road by us hobbyist and if gas gets to $50/100 per gallon you’ll only see them come out for car meets then right back to a garage or trailer as pieces of “rolling art”. It is what it is but there aren’t nearly enough of us car enthusiasts to keep an entire industry going that relies on a bunch of other non enthusiasts in order for us to enjoy our hobby.And these idiots are right on board with it.

How fun a car is to drive is subjective. You would need to actually drive the car to gauge this or point to survey responses of those who have driven it (and even that’s flawed since we all have different feelings on what makes a car “fun” to drive) to make statements on how enjoyable it is to drive.

I will have a model X inside 6 months and I fully plan on keeping a manual transmission car that’s much slower and doesn’t turn as well as the Tesla or have autopilot just because the experience is interactive. The model X out accelerates god damn ferraris but that doesn’t mean the iPhone car is much fun to drive outside of straight line acceleration.That's not even the point.

Breh you ask any car enthusiast and they'll you the Tesla isn't all that fun. Go to any car meet, talk with a bunch of car guys. Those that own Tesla will have another car because it ain't as fun as you make it to be.
It's not anecdotal feelings, just go out and talk to people. Join different car forums and talk to the posters there. You justifying you purchase is all you doing. I'll take a slow old S2000 with a manual transmission over a Tesla anyday
