He definitely didnt get out before it was "too late" since he had already paid for college but he ducked the wedding. He didnt pay for anything yet, they were just finishing up the plans for the $50k wedding and

He might have got a small win by not having to pay the finances for the wedding but he spent 10 years of his life trying to make a family out of nothing.

I honestly feel very bad for him. He won't get those ten years back and he's not young enough to have a family, as I'm assuming he's way above 40 now.

Oh yes I was very happy after reading this thread. That's what they get. I can't stand ungrateful people. You try to be nice, help them out, and end up being taken advantage of. The real father shouldn't have had any recognition. And as someone who is a "giver", every now and then you regret helping out certain people. Just a bunch of leeches. She wasn't doing him any kind of favors, and should have been worshipping the ground he walks on.
