Foh. This nikka is not some damn unstoppable basketball deity. He is susceptible to the same tough defense every other player is.

The Lakers proved it and the Spurs just proved it. They made him have an off night by having a body in front of him at all times and forcing him into uncomfortable situations. It ain't nothing lucky about that shyt

It's only so many times you can just chuck up bullshyt and have it go in. Those shots are too hard to make on a consistent basis when you're being properly game planned against and the players are playing smart basketball.

But steph does make them consistently. If you think him and klay are having a night like this again especially in the playoffs, u are out your damn mind. Spurs played him tonight like they usually do, just tougher, but any other night steph will still go off or if he's cold there's klay/draymond. The Spurs got it tonight, by only a few points. Good for them. Warriors in 6 in the offs

They did the same the last two times and he still went off. He had an off night and so did klay
Your talking about a guy that can pull over 2 people unbalanced
Doesnt matter how great a shooter he is, if the Spurs can force the Warriors to rely on Curry "pulling over 2 people unbalanced" for 4 games, the Warriors will lose.

tell me what the lakers proved here

many of those are looks he hits routinely and his ability to make them consistently is largely the reason he's the best player in the league today. they didn't really make him do anything.

if anything, it should be telling that he can shoot that poorly against the Lakers/Spurs who are on the opposite spectrum in terms of defense. pretty sure he shot like 20% against the knicks this yr too

You a damn lie. Pull the entire game up. Don't just cherry pick certain situations and be like "see I told you"!

If you had watched that entire game against the Lakers they played Curry the same way the Spurs played him tonight, the Spurs just have better players.

They kept a body in front of him, they forced him into turning the ball over( Jordan Clarkson had like 3 swipes), and forced him inside the arc, and made him have to make miraculous shots because they filled the passing lane with active hands

They MADE him have an off night. Admit it

That video should cover every missed attempt by Curry on the night and includes several of his turnovers. that isn't cherry picking, its exactly what you were referring to by the Lakers forcing him into an off night.

now, breakdown those misses by Curry and tell me exactly what the Lakers did to force them. but you can't. because they didn't force them. He just missed.

You know I watched that entire game man lets not go there.

No he doesnt make those shots consistently. A large portion of his shots are uncontested. If he does make those contested miracle shots its because of luck and it wouldnt be wise to hang their hat on that.

What are you talking about? :mindblown:

They just had another game like this against the lowly Lakers. Did you not know that?

And how can you say that the Spurs played them the same way if you claim that they played them tougher? That shyt makes no sense :mjlol:

Stop believing in the Tooth Fairy. There's no such thing. If you have to rely on your team to consistently make miraculous shots over contested hands in the playoffs then you will lose. Those shots are just too hard to make consistently enough to where you can hang your hat on them in the postseason. Curry is no different from anyone else. If you follow the gameplan and use your head he can be stopped. This is even more proof of that

While I don't know about Curry not being able to impose his will or some shyt, why do nikkas on here act like Curry is immune to tough defense? I have never seen this before. Press him in a manner that minimizes his bread and butter and he has a tough night just like any other player, good or great.

Spurs deserve their credit.
