Thank you. I watch nba games very regularly (full live games, not just higlights) partly because im a huge fan and also because I work boring night shifts here in the UK and have the time and free wifi to stream live games and I swear to god,

I see curry regularly locking down his opponent and getting stops by staying in front of the player he's guarding with his quick feet and also getting strips, steals and rebounds while I see some other players who do not have the reputation as "terrible defenders" getting cooked.

This isnt fox news or the white house, if you are gonna make claims, you better back it up with facts
You do not.

Reputation is all that seems to matter. All of the hard evidence says that Kobe was only a plus defender very early in his career (when he earned that reputation).

For most of his career, his primary contribution to the defensive end was that his presence in the lineup usually meant more minutes for a defensive specialist who was offensively challenged.
Exactly. It's impossible to shake reputation once it's formed. Harden, for example, will forever live with the reputation as a defensive liability despite putting in the work defensively this season. I will continue to call nikkas out on the fake news though.

Provide real proof that he's a defensive liability and one of the worst among his peers or :camby:
I didn't say that he was.

I responded specifically to your lying ass saying you see Steph Curry locking his man up. You don't see that shyt, you literally made that bullshyt up, and I would love for you to provide REAL PROOF of this alleged common occurrence.

Clown.

How you gonna tell me what I saw or didnt, you fukking twat.

Here's a relatively recent proof. His defence on kyrie in their first meeting of the season. I challenge anyone to watch the entire video and tell me objectively that, that's not a good lockdown defence

Did you watch your own clip breh? Kyrie had another guy shadowing him on every sequence. And even with that still got anywhere he wanted.

What kind of vid is that anyway Steph isn't even in the picture on the last possession

I like curry he’s dope, I’m a fan of his game, and Durant’s probably my two favorite players post Kobe.

The only one truly hurting is Lebron :yeshrug:

I’ve said it before, defense definitely matters but it doesn’t have the same importance or impact as offense. Basically a great offensive player makes way more impact than an equally great defensive player.

But when youre comparing steph to kobe...it kinda matters cause Kobe was one of the most dangerous/talented scorers we will ever see. I mean youre talking about a guy that averaged 35 a game playing with bums creating on his own.

He's a PG that led the league in steals, he's good enough on defense
