But the reason the role players for GSW going off tonight is not becuz the Cavs are doubling Curry on the pick n roll. Their bench is just playing within the flow of the offense. Hell Klay and Steph wasn't even on the court when the bench took over to start the 4th.

they are doubling or trying to show/recover instead of switching with the bench players also.....
this thead is about how to shut down Curry, which they have. So in that sense it is working, they were down 4 in the 2nd half
Warriors bench went off with Curry on the bench too
I'm seeing them score in transition, off defensive lapses and miscommunication. They've done a good job on Curry but Livingston hit all those mid range jumpers in transition or in the flow.

this is how the warriors do when they are guarded the way you described. they pick teams apart easily. you wanted the role players to beat them well there it is.
you cant guard this team that way IMO. its too easy to get lost with all the off ball screens when you dont switch. i realize not every team can has the personnel to do it but i cant see any other way.

Cavs collapsed on three-point line too hard in the defensived end. The result of overplaying the perimeter left the lane open which the Warriors exploited in the 4th quarter.You can see that Cleveland was well prepared to lock down Curry and Thompson but Cavs weren't prepared for the offensive onslaught by Warriors' bench that buried them in the 4th quarter.
Well I guess taking the L is alright because they shut down Curry, right?
I told ya'll already I'll take it if the role players do what they did last night. But the rotations of the Cavs have to be better and they have to attempt to pick people up in transition. If the Cavs can play better on offense and be better in their rotations then their defense will be commended by the end of the series.
Nobody said they shut them down.
And they'll still lose. You just don't want Curry to show out.
I'm just tired of seeing 7 footers guard the best shooter and ball handler in the league. I don't believe their role players will play that good game in and game out. It's a reason they are bench players.
