Agreed but you saw the 3rd quarter last night when Steph and Klay was hitting shots OKC got demoralized. And it was only a 3 point game. I'm saying don't allow Steph to get going becuz that breathes life into the whole team. When he starts posing and doing his antics after shots the other guys start believing they can do anything.

This team is tuff and to me it just feels like the switching of pick and rolls has been figured out by the Warriors. GSW hasn't seen the trapping in awhile and maybe they can be confused or forced into turnovers by trying a different approach.

That's on OKC though. It is possible to survive that shyt. OKC actually did so in game 1. Beyond that, if they had taken care of business on the other end before that, they still would have had a 10 point lead at that point.

Figured out= Steph and Klay hitting 28-30 foot bombs with hands in their face.....that's all that really happened...even with all that OKC was still in the game...their poor execution and lack of shot making it what cost them...again you start trapping and letting everyone else get going and you are asking for trouble...considering that Klay/Steph are gonna hit shots regardless...

That's basically what teams do all throughout the season, but when Curry gets the ball over the trap to Draymond he's able to put the ball on the floor and either find a wide open shooter in the corner, throw a lob to the big or try to make a play for himself.

It's a pick your poison scenario. Either you give up a 4on3 or Curry dances with your big men. A lot of times both. Or they just run him off ball and try to get him free through screens. I do think a team with great length that can switch 1-5 poses the biggest threat to GSW defensively. A locked in OKC was that.

Cavs problem is that they haven't been playing good defense this postseason and weren't great in the regular season either so it'll be interesting how they survive all the problems the Warriors will pose to them. Can't see Love getting heavy minutes without being repeatedly blown up defensively.

Honestly the idea that OKCs bigs did a horrible job of staying in front of Curry is false. He crossed them a couple times last night and got clean looks, but if you go back and watch a lot of his shots, they actually did a good job of contesting and getting a hand up. He just makes everything

They did a great job all series, especially at home which is why they didn't get beat from the 3pt line in those games.

But it is a reason why Iggy, Livingston, Barnes, Bogut and them are role players. They are more likely to be off than Steph or Klay. I know Steph is gonna hit shots no matter the defense which is why I'm saying to get the ball out of his hands and force less consistent players to make plays.

I'd put Love on Bogut, they'll seek him out of course, but at least in that scenario you can trap /hedge hard on Curry and live with Bogut rolling to the rim, don't overreact to him catching the ball at the top of the key or foul line.

The Cavs strategy of blitzing Curry worked in the Finals because Klay and Green shyt the bed (Green ended up getting it together in the last few games). So their motion offense got stale if Klay couldn't hit shots, and the pick and roll was the only play they trusted. It was easier to blitz Curry if you knew what was coming each time down and nobody else is hitting shots.

So if you want to neutralize Curry a little bit, you have to take Klay out the game imo.

And they are more than likely to have little effect on the game if they are not involved....Iggy played great defense on LeBron last year but he also averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists....this could be Green as well...or even worse both start making plays ....you can't have that...and that's what happens when the others get involved and the ball starts moving...because eventually their shots will become wide open because of the rotations and your defense starts to over react even more and they really have you on your heels...
