We don't need the Curry/Iverson foolishness again. :kobewhatever:
:manny: okay

Curry's a better shooter, and top 3 greatest shooters of all time.
The rest we can just do it by math because everything else is subjective. I don't know who's gonna end up with a higher score so my Warrior stanning shouldn't be too much of a bias, let's see who gets more relative points according to 538.

Isiah's best season was averaging 21 points, 4.5 rebounds, 13.9 assists, and 2.3 steals.
Curry (with 7 less seasons) best is 30 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.7 assist, and 2.1 steals.

Thomas: 21 + ((4.5*1.7)+(13.9*2.2)+(2.3*9.1)) = 80.6 :whew:
Curry: 30 + ((5.4*1.7)+(6.7*2.2)+(2.1*9.1)) = 73.54 :obama:

Looks like Thomas relative points per game is higher because he was a monster on the assists.
Warriors are weird though, because damn near everyone on the team runs the point at some time in the game. I'd be interested to see what happens if you take hockey assists into consideration.

And that was the 84-85 season for Zeke, his fourth season. Steph's was his 7th.

For those wondering at home, AI's 01-02 season his relative ppg was 76.63

Jordan's 88-89 season was 90 (95 w/ blocks) :merchant:
Kobe's 02-03 season 74.73 (79 w/ block):francis:
Lebron 07-08 season 75.65 (82 w/ block) :lolbron:

Bill Russell (didn't count blocks, which would probably be ridic) 68.92 :russell:
And Wilt 99.37 (no blocks included) not bad :myman:

Can I ask why you think he's soft? and he's not slow of foot.

The Pistons, Blazers and Magic are three teams Curry would work extremely very well with in the '90s.
He is physically weak and when tasked with dealing with physical team (Cavs) he folds up and mentally becomes timid.
He is slow of foot in comparison to Isiah and to top tier guards in today's game, you attack him defensively and he has trouble staying in front of his man consistntly without fouling.

Pistons, maybe lack of toughness and ability to guard top teir players is a problem with them and the Blazers.
He would be a downgraade from Penny if you put him on the Magic

Averaging 26/5/6 is average? Nobody else on the team averaged even 16-17 points
nikkas here dont know wtf they be saying.

They just go off hear-say and narrative talking points they learn from Skip and/or Stephen A smith.

Steph couldnt even survive against the Pistons, he'd be permanently injured.

Mentaally timid how? He never shies away from shooting unless it's in the best interest of the team or Klay is hot. Missing shots isn't being weak, not taking them is and Steph is a gunner. You'll see him dive for loose balls and stick his head in the paint for OREB's often as well.

The ticky tack reaching fouls that Curry gets tagged with would often be let go in the 90's PS, and with Rodman/Laimbeer flanking him he's got two of the best goons to ever play. Those Pistons were deep with a lot of defensive talent and all time great coaching.

Penny was a combo guard in its purest sense. Move Nick Anderson to the bench, start both.

Terry Porter didn't play with more toughness than Curry

Yes mentally timid, like how he refused to drive against Kevin Love in Game 7 of the finals and settled for a terrible fadeaway.
Like I said Curry is too light weight and slow to be compared to the defense that Zeke could deliver.
Why would i take the ball out Penny's hands for steph, unless you talking about running steph as a spot up and curler shooter?
