that’s the thing what Curry was doing is statistically impossible especially over the course of an entire season.. so no a 6’3 cac can’t do what curry was doing..

Last year harden had to jack over 1000 3s just to beat curry in made 3s and he only won it by 24 3s made while curry shot 800 attempts in 68 while Harden needed 78 games lmaooo

A 6’3 185 cac can try to emulate Curry. How many ppl could even possibly play like Bron at a high level?

I know Curry’s game is special, but the reason it’s changed the game is because it can at least be attempted. You can’t learn 6’8 270, world class athlete, along with the b-ball IQ needed to play at his level.

Steph Curry “changing the way the game is played” is literally the most overrated narrative in basketball history and I plan to make a thread on that bullshyt soon. The league was trending towards 3 point heavy play long before anyone gave a fukk about Steph Curry and it was going to get to this point even if he never existed.

It won't matter cuz the historians will always give the credit to the chef since he laid the blueprint

So we going to act like that series didn’t go 7 games? Real heads know Steph was ascending every season since coming in the league... It’s a reason they traded Monte Ellis..
Of course Steph was ascending. If anyone told you that over the next two years Steph would win back to back FMVPs, two straight finals and lead a 73 win team you would be laughed out of the building though

Mike D’Antoni laid the blueprint with Phoenix. If you wanna go back even further you can say Don Nelson inspired Mike. Daryl Morey and his emphasis on analytics took it to the next level. Steve Kerr was a part of that Suns staff and took everything he learned from there to GSW. At no point during GSWs run, did they even lead the league in 3 point attempts. If Steph Curry never existed, the NBA would still be a 3 pt fest because of teams like Houston. Before Steph was a household name, the 3 point shot was already becoming heavily used due to the analytics movement. Him “changing the game” is a literal joke. :manny:

LeBron underachieved this decade

The Heat were 2-2, could have been 1-3 if San Antonio didn't choke

I don't blame him for the Cavs Warriors losses (warriors had better teams ) but the Heat era should be held against him.

I'd argue that going 2-2 was reasonable. If we play the hypothetical game, then Miami "should have" won against Dallas and they "should have" lost to Spurs both times, resulting in the same overall Finals record.

It's more than just attempts. Those Phoenix teams never achieved long term success. Steph helped build a dynasty off of it.

Give the player of the decade award to someone who sits out the whole season as soon as he faces some adversity
