I don't know what the numbers are for black high school golfers but I hope that's where the scholarships go. I know some HBCU's had to recruit white baseball players because there wasn't a deep enough pool of black players.

That's fair. I don't know what scholarships look like for golfers at big D1 schools so maybe the amenities are closer between the two and in a sport like golf, since it is individual, I don't think being at a certain college impacts your career as much. But that's all optimism. I do remember that story of HBCU's having a decent amount of white baseball players so depending how many other HBCU's have golf teams, that could probably become a thing too
