the fourth was like many of the pre-jimmy trade games in the fourth, except steph went nuclear

Magic were determined to stop Jimmy in the paint tonight, that's what allowed Chef and Post to get loose.

5 straight was the mark I wanted to see, If we can soon get a solid 15 from Jimmy every night we are legit.

Quinten Post is way better and more dynamic than simply a "stretch big".

He makes smart plays. Doesn't turn the ball over. Is a dawg on the court.

And he's a knockdown shooter.

The guys a winner.

I gotta give flowers to Coach Kerr tonight.

I told my wife when they were down 12 and looking lost, "Steve Kerr's gonna have to coach tonight".

And he did exactly that.

I'm usually very critical of Kerr. He's often just watching the game, not making adjustments, funky and rigid rotations, and basically not coaching shyt.

But tonight he was excellent.

Great job, Coach. πŸ‘πŸ½

Jimmy Butler is looking like hot dog water on the offensive end of the court. His 3 ball is uglier and worse than Dray and GPII.

:scust:

I get regular season Jimmy isn't that impressive, but he can't be 100% passing like Dray when he's near the cup.

We don't need another "all pass no buckets" connector. Especially when the play breaks down.

I'll give him a pass for now, but I'm watching.

Unfortunately, he's gonna have many a night where he goes into his shell on offense. He's been doing it for years and it won't change in the playoffs.

They've just got to hope that on the nights he doesn't have it going in a series, one of the role players goes off.

I know it was Steph's night but I like Q. Post coming off the bench (keeps him out of foul trouble).
He was great on defense and offense last night and provided the lift the team needed outside of Steph's greatness to get the win.

Steph is the best offensive player I’ve ever seen.

Yep, and this is why it annoys me when the talking heads call him the best "shooter" ever...minimizing his greatness.

Ray Allen was a shooter.
Reggie Miller was a shooter.
Kyle Korver was a shooter.
Steve Kerr was a shooter.

Steph is an all time great SCORER and a gravity inducing offensive juggernaut. Perhaps the best ever.

Best small player of all time? Yes 6’3 is short for a nba player

He can claim that title.

I still think he ranks near the top of the larger GOAT convo, when including his entire package.

His off the court respect, family man, impeccable showman, ability to play with other greats, humility and approachability with fans, and impactful game changer makes him one of one.

He'll have a greater impact on the hearts and minds of a generation than any other single player. MJ and Kobe were incredible, but less relatable.

A big part of that is because he's most like a "regular" human. Both physically and personality.

Once in a lifetime person and talent.
