I don't even know why y'all are tripping off this loss.

Yes, it's not ideal they're in the play-in (again), because they obviously need to play an extra game, but is potentially playing the Rockets worse than playing the Lakers or Nuggets?

:manny:

The Rockets might have won more regular season games, but it would seem to me not plaiyng Jokic or Bron/Luka in the 1st round is the better spot to be in.

I agree

I also think they will clobber Memphis.

Are the Rockets a better matchup than the Lakers? Absolutely.

Does this team of senior citizens need all the rest they can get going into a playoff push? Absolutely.

Can this team beat any team in a seven game series? Yes I believe so.

But has this team shown a tenancy to shyt the bed and lose to anyone in a single game? Yes, and that's why the play in ain't nothing to play with.

Never mind they're 0-3 in play in games.

If JJJ takes Draymonds advice and avoids foul trouble and the Dubs lose to Memphis on Tuesday....the season is, for all intents, over.

I dont get this obsession with blaming gpii. Gpii is who he is and he's been great for us on defense and hustling. He's never been an offensive force and is a defensive specialist.

Reason why he's been on the floor over Moody is clear. Moody was getting smoked every time by Kawhi AND Harden off first step.

I don't agree with Kuminga not getting any minutes this game, but I have no issues with gpii being out there in the clutch.

The losses aren't a good look, in isolation, but this squad knows how to reset itself for the playoffs better than any team (even moreso now with the addition of Jimmy who's made a career out of it). They're not some inexperienced group who don't know how to overcome adversity or iron out wrinkles. Even if they won these most recent games, it wouldn't change their playoff projection.

All that really matters is their health and the rest will take care of itself.

Rockets played Steph tough for one game, but that remains to be seen if they can do it for the entirety of a series and even if they do, are they going to have enough juice at the other end?

:manny: I'm not mad at gpii at all. shyt happens.

I think the bigger takeaway from this game is that they will struggle against teams with good bigs. Post is unplayable against a solid big who will grab tens of rebounds over him and also will get eazy buckets on him.

With no Post, you lose consistent three point shooting as Buddy Hield is like of box of chocolates mixed with a box of turds and not in a good ratio :scust:

For those that seem confident they're going to win on Tuesday against Memphis, consider this...

They can and have lost to any team, even in must win situations.

The old guys are burning a lot of physical and mental energy playing these last few games.

Steph is banged up and committed 8 turnovers. A sign of being tired, or overused.

Jimmy might wake up in the morning with a knot in his quad and can't go.

The Kuminga thing is probably negatively affecting the vibes.

Memphis would love nothing more than to "eliminate" the Warriors again.

Basically, the Warriors should win on Tuesday, but there's no reason to believe they will easily.

And they could easily get beat.

I don't have a problem with GPII. I like him a lot, as a player and a person.

I just want people to admit that Kerr strongly dislikes JK, on a personal level. It's not just about basketball.

Then he lies and gaslights us about it.

He DNP their 3rd leading scorer and 4th year lottery pick like he's a cancer to the team or something.

Everyone has strengths and weaknesses.

This is something else.

If they don't beat Memphis, then their season is over, regardless (even if they get the 8th seed or not), so like I said, I wouldn't trip. All these teams in the West are likely playing runner-up to OKC, anyway, so it really doesn't matter which order they come in at. That's why these wins/losses don't carry a whole lot of weight.

If anyone does manage to beat the Thunder, it'll most probably come down to injuries and an insurmountable amount of luck.
