is just :scusthov:. :pachaha:

He makes a somewhat valid point but that shyt doesn't apply to Trayvon. We knew the facts. Unarmed black teen gunned down in cold blood.

is a real sukka for that. :pacspit:

Breh I've seen you post quite a bit about Bryant Gumbel these last couple days. No hate but I remember when I was in high school Bryant Gumbel being synonymous with Uncle Tom. I legit don't know of any instances where he went to bat for black folk so guide me.
You're going off an old perception of Bryant Gumbel dog. He been shook that image. He still sounds the same and still fukks with blonde bytches named Bridget but he is very out spoken especially when it comes to blacks in sports.

Trayvon Martin case might be a bad example to use

Thats the whole point. :mindblown:. Nobody is is saying people should rush to judgement minus facts or jump on something because of race. The point is the Heat/Trayvon shyt was not an example of this and thusly him acting like it was came off as at best a cop out or at worst genuine self-hatred.

Not c00n like the everyday undercover homo on Coli

He still would have gotten murked. Whether from someone in the music industry that he pissed off or from the authorities not liking how outspoken he was. But I wish he was still here though. :wow:

Kobe was wrong for attaching those comments to the Trayvon Martin case. If he simply said this as an isolated comment that was a general statement, then fine , ok, but why attach those sediments to the Trayvon case?

You could argue this is where he was wrong because the implication is that he's assuming LeBron and Co. didn't do their research and made a decision without knowing the full story. I don't think he's wrong for attaching it to this case though. Obviously we know all the details now but I believe he's speaking on the perspective of someone who may not know anything about the case.

Let me put it like this: If you heard of a case where a [insert race 1] man kills a [insert race 2] teenager but you do not know any of the details beyond that and you come to the conclusion that the [race 1] man was wrong in killing the kid, you just made a baseless judgement of the [race 1] man. Could race have been involved? Sure. But until you know all of the facts and details of the situation it's wise to not jump to conclusions.

And going beyond that, when you see people like Trayvon Martin's parents and Jordan Davis' parents after the trials, they seemed pretty calm and accepting of the events that happened and did a good job containing their anger despite the egregious injustices that they witnessed. That docile approach is not helping us at all.

The parents of those two are socially engineered to react that way. We have MLK shoved down our throats so, when other races screw us over we want to be peaceful with them and be on some "We shall overcome BS". At some point, you have to let Amerikkka know that you are angry and fed up. Call RT and Al-Jazzera and do an interview with them and shame Amerikkka in front of the world. Start putting a dent in their credibility in front of world and let them know the evil they have done to black people. Shame Obama and Holder and call them c00ns in front of the world. I would think a parent losing a son to this injustice would be on some "Ready to Die" shyt...maybe I'm being naive since I don't have a child. Are we this cowardly as a people? I think that there parents didn't spit that real because they are employed by white people/company and don't want to offend them.

Before we get into the c00n talk.... insert any two races in the bolded line.:comeon:

This is correct. If we remove ourselves from the Treyvon Martin case, and apply this to anything else this is true. We all inherently have biases because of our upbringing, culture, history, etc. To act without knowing all of the facts is absolutely foolish. This is all that SAS is saying.

Bean calling out the Heat is foolish because the Heat did have the facts. A black boy was killed senselessly due to prejudice. Justice was not served.

I agree with SAS, given the notion that we jump out the box and are ultra-emotional when shyt happens. We should be strategic in our attempts to seek justice. Assumptions do not help much of anything. They stir the pot and can potentially cloud decision-making, which is never good.:usure:

I still don't see the problem with what he and Kobe said. You guys just sound overly militant and are completely missing the point of the message they're trying to convey.

Half these fukkin idiots in here have no idea what cause they're arguing for, their simply arguing because their black and it seems like the "right thing to do"... shyt is like a baggy pants fad, or fitted hat fad on this board... They just going along with what's "cool" and will ignore any message with even a remote ounce of thoughtfulness to it. (rather than having intelligent debate and acknowledging good points).

Some of these same idiots in here raising hell about the "black cause", took great pride and joy when another black member on this message board got his business idea stolen that he spent a LOT of time working on... They secretly looked at this as a "win" for them, because seeing someone else fail makes them feel better about themselves (even though he was black... Remember, the same race they want to defend to the death right?:usure: #confused)

shyt LIKE THIS, is why black people are fukked up and will always be fukked up (jealousy, envy, tearing each other down), but they want to put it on the cacs. (which don't get me wrong, racism is still alive, but black people ARE our own worst enemy.)

Kobe was wrong for attaching those comments to the Trayvon Martin case. If he simply said this as an isolated comment that was a general statement, then fine , ok, but why attach those sediments to the Trayvon case?

The same white folks who demonized and criminalized Kobe during his rape case, when they "didn't have all the facts" are the same people that immediately jumped to the defense of Zimmerman. Kobe didn't rape that chick, but he was convicted in the white court of public opinion before the trial was over

This quote from @Ronnie Lott is the perfect example... He's saying Kobe should have made his comments in a general statement, but the Trayvon situation is the situation he was asked about at the time...

People are saying all the facts were out by the time the Heat posted that instagram pic, like they know for 1,0000% fact Kobe follows the news religiously to keep up with all the bullshyt. They actually feel they KNOW this for a fact.:why:

They've basically latched on to a Kobe witch hunt, and have thrown all logic and reasonability out the window.

And this dude Ronnie Lott, no offense, but obviously isn't too bright... He just said Kobe was convicted in the court of public opinion before the trial was over, but at the same time is condemning Kobe for the comments he made.

Since its obvious you're not following along well, let me help you out: You just proved Kobe's fukking point.

IF WE WANT TO RALLY BEHIND EACH OTHER BLINDLY LIKE A GROUP OF BLACK PANTHERS ON CRACK, HOW CAN WE GET MAD AT THE CACS FOR DOING THE SAME THING WHEN IT COMES TO A SITUATION WITH US (which you just said Kobe went through)

So oh slow one: He's saying if we stop jumping to conclusions and riding for each other blindly, maybe the cacs will follow suit and show us the same type treatment.

Not that I totally agree, or give a fukk frankly, but thats how HE feels, and there is AT LEAST a LITTLE merritt to it.

I personally feel if us blacks stopped worrying about these crackers, just get to the money and UPLIFT OURSELVES instead of being jealous and hateful to each other, it wouldn't matter a damn what none of these Cacs think or do.

You always gonna have some racist cops here and there, and shyt like that, but we gonna pretend like Jay-Z, Oprah, Tyler Perry and others didn't face the same obstacles?

Difference is they realized a long time ago that: "the world is never gonna be perfect, and we never gonna rid all racist cacs, so I'm gonna take shyt in my own hands in these 80 some odd years I have on Earth, and not let a cac have power / control over me for the rest of my life from some shyt that started over 200 years ago"

And lets not forget a cac is the one who initiated the civil war:ehh:.... Point is not ALL cacs are evil. shyt started off bad, a cac helped save us, then god blessed us with Martin, and now we taking over everything in sports and entertainment, and currently have the leader of the free world (not to mention, who was voted in by a nation full of 70%++ cacs.... twice... I think that small fact has a little significance)... Not half bad I'd say. The history is what it is, time to move forward.

PS Kobe said Trayvon was wronged and justice was not served... Just thought that little tidbit of information might be important.:beli:
