But there is more to a player than that so yes his overall ranking is debatable. But if you feel you need to compare Lebron after he is retired then stop with all the top 5 talk until then.

SAS is one of the biggest kobestans of all time so of course he will say what he did. The media has always fueled the idea that Kobe was like Jordan and would take and make game winners with ease. The facts never supported it, the numbers never supported it, but it was repeated nonetheless.

LeBrons perceived lack of clutch is always well covered by the media. You still have people running to recite numbers from the 2011 finals and they ignore his presence and performance in 3 championships and five finals appearances in the five years since.

Has nothing to do with Kobe. That perception that lebron wasn't clutch was built up by skip and lebron's performance in 2011. It's one of those narratives that will kind of always stick to him unless he does some brazy clutch shyt this June like hit all the game winning shots or something.
