take note of shot attempts and field goal% along with the all around game

4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points"

What's crazy is the fact that people will ignore these cold facts instead they rather use their blind ass eye test first take is a joke and so is undisputed I'm tired of sports media what happened to really breaking down the game and leaving bullshyt antics and rhetoric to the side...atleast we got jalen and jacoby

We talking top 10 all time. The elite of the elite. Yall love to live in moment instead of really looking at a player as a whole. Are westbrook and harden top 10 now cause they are ballin at the moment? I dont think so. You Lebron stans are caught in the moment. Most people put shaq in the top 5 -10 range. Thats pretty elite.

Caught in the moment nikka lebron been destroying the league for the last 13 years he's already accomplished just as much if not more then damn near anybody in goat consideration hell he just passed Hakeem and Moses on the all time scoring list and we didn't even hit the halfway mark this season

This narrative should have been dead years ago. Lebron might actually be the most clutch dude in the league. Clutch doesn't just mean hero shots as the clock expires, it also refers to the last 4 minutes of big games, and Lebron has been showing up in those moments for years now.

Has nothing to do with Kobe. That perception that lebron wasn't clutch was built up by skip and lebron's performance in 2011. It's one of those narratives that will kind of always stick to him unless he does some brazy clutch shyt this June like hit all the game winning shots or something. The hate lebron got in 2010/2011 left that little blemish that, even though he won 3 after, will always stick with him to some extend.

Now as far as kobe. It's the people that kept calling him clutch and the media ran with it. GMs, players, lakers fans all made "mamba mentality" what it is. Kobe leading in game winners with 36 fielded that no matter how much he missed

Back to lebron, it was his actual play, skip bayless, dan Gilbert and social media that ran "lebron is a career choke artist" and those 4 quarter jokes. I remember even bytches who didn't even watch ball didn't like lebron. From 2011 up until he won the next year the 4th quarter jokes ran rampant on twitter and was apart of that first wave of social media memes. One of those all star games he passed on the game winning shot to deron Williams and cause a turnover I think. everybody was roasting his ass on social media. Little shyt like that made lebron a target.

that and showing up smaller than jj barea in the 2011 finals. 8 points in a finals game while getting worked by Barea, Terry, Kidd, etc. Lose a series lead to Dirk n a bunch of average joes.

Give me shaq over LeBron anyway

He literally started this thread with "Lebron is top 5 all time....if clutch time doesn't exist."

And then puts SHAQ over Lebron? :why:

Did he already forget the argument he was pushing at the top of the thread? :skip:

Lebron is not top five. Lets stop with that silly argument. You cannot even realistically rank him higher than shaq who was more dominant than him in every way and shaq barely makes top 10 himself.
Good comparison.. Shaq's dominance and impact of him just being in game are the intangibles that give him the clear edge over James. He was so unstoppable teams would foul him rather than let him get the ball down low.
Shaq was the most dominant player of the modern era. It's not even a contest or debatable. Nobody is picking a prime Lebron over a prime shaq period. Lebrons 2 rings with the heat are piggy backed off wade (who already won a chip on his own with the heat). He gets credit for last years win though. (Although Kyrie was the real MVP)
I said shaq's dominance on the court wasn't up for debate. He was the most dominant player of the modern era period. More dominant than Lebron ever will be. But there is more to a player than that so yes his overall ranking is debatable. But if you feel you need to compare Lebron after he is retired then stop with all the top 5 talk until then.

There's so much stupid here it's not even necessary to break it down, but I have one question for you...if Shaq is as dominant as you say....then why only 1 MVP?

:sas1::sas2:

You want the answer? Because Shaq was the most dominant low-post presence ever...but he was NOT great at anything else. He was a good (not great) defender, a good (not great) passer out of the post, a poor ballhandler, a poor shooter (especially on free throws), and a mediocre at best leader. To go to the OP, that combination of skills has made him average, not great, in crunch time up until the last shot, and rarely the guy you can go to for that last shot.

Lebron may be the most dominant at driving and scoring ever (which is arguably superior to low-post scoring because you don't need someone else to get the ball to you). On top of that, he's a fantastic, elite defender. On top of that, he's the best passing non-PG in history. On top of that, he's an above-average ballhander and an above-average shooter. And he's considered to be one of the best team leaders of his era. And, to go to the OP, he's fantastic on both ends of the floor in crunch time, someone you would never, ever leave off the floor for any reason, and a guy who can take and make the last shot.

Not to mention an above average GM, whereas Shaq couldn't even hold onto his own team in his prime. :troll:

We will never forget 2011 and the bronze medal

Lebron's only Olympic bronze is when he was a teenager and vet-loving Larry Brown refused to play him.

1 year, last year.

:dahell:

Did you just ignore the set of youtube videos I put earlier? And that was just 3-pointers. :ahh:

8 game-winning shots in the playoffs....more than anyone else since Jordan.

2 game-winning shots in his very first playoff series.

Controlled the fourth quarter of every game in his 2006 series against Detroit.

The 48 points (including last 25 straight) game-tying shot in regulation and game-winning shot in 2OT against Detroit in Game 5 2007.

Huge game-winning three against Orlando in the ECF in Game 2, and pretty crazy scoring down the final minutes of Game 4.

A bunch of dominant performances down the stretch against defending champs Boston and league-best Chicago in 2011.

Game-winner against Indiana in 2013.

Made the three with 20 seconds left to cut the lead to 2 in Game 6 against San Antonio in 2013, then the go-ahead shot in overtime.

Closed out San Antonio with three huge jumpers down the stretch in Game 7 in 2013.

Game-winning shot in Game 4 against Chicago in 2015.

Closed out Atlanta down the stretch finishing them off in Game 4 in 2015.

And then there was the huge 3 with 4:58 left against Golden State in Game 7 followed by the biggest block in NBA history with a minute left.

I'm sure I missed shyt, but Lebron has been a dominant performer in the closing minutes of huge games over....and over....and over again.

Don't ever expect logic and reason from a Kobe cocksucker. c00nin A is like a woman who runs off of strictly emotion.
