Anyone who has ever lived in Memphis will tell you, that ain’t the spot you want to be. Especially if you have money.

It’s hard to think of a “major” city where it would be worse to live as a person with money.

Even for a middle of the road nikka such as myself the city was trash.

That shyt looks like it stopped developing in ‘88. You go downtown and the buildings look like they from the Soviet Union, no joke.

The hood is everywhere. You cannot escape from the hood, no matter where you go in Memphis. The hood is always 1 street over.

I used to see players hanging out in the most random of places. Out in the suburbs. Not even a nice bar or restaurant, but those joints that be adjacent to the grocery store.
