The problem is that most people can't just attack the bullshyt. They have to attack not only the purveyors of said bullshyt but everybody who looks like them. People shouldn't hit other people. It's that simple. No more needs to be said. However people gotta ride for their side so it becomes a bunch of rhetoric ranging from completely empty to straight up disturbing and sad.

Frankly Steven A. got what was coming to him. They play this "we aren't afraid to touch on any topic" game and the entire basis of their show is to court controversy in order to get viewers. Well it bit him in the ass. Beadle will get her's too. She comes off as the type to get to big for her britches, so it's only a matter of time.

I feel you what you saying. They definitely had this coming by toeing the line of controversy for ratings the way they do. I just hate seeing Beadle not getting checked for her behavior in this whole process so I hope you're right.

The parallels with race are crazy. But the sad part is that while Beadle is being celebrated as a hero and being so brave to stand up for abused women, it actually harms the woman's movement more than anything in the long run. I have seen in the corporate world times where I had to argue with our company's CEO just to hire a woman. They didn't want to hire any women afraid that the boys couldn't be boys and have the same conversations that occur if we hired a bunch of women or even the possible sexual harassment possibilities. This kind of situation probably has the sexist types saying see this is why we don't deal with them.

Percentage change between 1980 and 2008 of women and men killed by intimate partners in the U.S.: (w) 43 percent to 45 percent; (m) 7 percent to 5 percent

But lets act like they're shoulder to shoulder because we can post videos of woman on man violence :childplease:

Thing is Beadle doesn't care about women, just like Steven A. doesn't care about black folks. If she cared about women she wouldn't be belaboring the "provoke" piece and instead she would be encouraging women and men alike to do all they can to prevent DV. Instead she turns this into her issue and puts the bullseye on her back much like Steven A. has done with all his controversy. Trust me, if she gets out of line her ass will be covering HS football games in Iowa in no time. :heh:

Telling domestic abuse victims not to "provoke" their man into beating them, is similar to the "she shouldn't have got drunk/wore that outfit" example of victim blaming that's way too common.
That does not even equate to the same thing. Someone be already broke it down logically how the 2 do not relate got damn you nikkas is dense.:mindblown:

I'd actually say Beadle lost for this. The bullseye is on her from now on. You know ESPN didn't want to really discipline Stephen A. First Take is one of their cash cows. If Beadle jumps out the window once, ESPN won't hesitate to ship her out again. They probably already regretting bringing her back after this fiasco.

SAS said repeatedly that he doesn't condone hitting women etc. but he got too lax and with all his experience he should know that all it takes is one person to use that segment with "provoke" against him. Too bad he didn't call out Beadle for twisting his words and using the whole rape scenario to get a rise out of people, but it is what it is. I can't even begin to image how good Beadle feels after all of this. The fact that she isn't facing some sort of action is just :wtf:.

To me true domestic violence is a man that hauls off and hits a woman first. While I personally would not retaliate with my fists I have absolutely no sympathy for a woman that starts hitting a man and gets hit back. Both genders need to keep their damn hands off of their partners. A woman can just as easily bust up a man's lip or black his eye even if she doesn't fully hurt him. That could have him looking bad at his job and fukk with his money. So I could easily see how a man can snap and retaliate with violence.

Someone else put it best when they said it's best to vet your partner over time and know when to move on before that situation presents itself.
:dahell: There's is no such thing as "true domestic violence". It doesn't matter who is the initiator, it's still domestic violence.

Telling domestic abuse victims not to "provoke" their man into beating them, is similar to the "she shouldn't have got drunk/wore that outfit" example of victim blaming that's way too common.

lemme just say this

if a woman is attacking you, you can stop her without socking her. shove her away, trip her, put her in a headlock, grab her dome and just play keep away, put her in a figure 4 leglock, give her a noogie on some playground bully shyt. Idc

I dunno if the rules have gotten so far that you're not allowed to defend yourself at all but you should be able to defend yourself without KOing her. Though I do acknowledge the amount of self control you gotta have to just not react automatically. Some people can't do it like trained soldiers/fighters/nikkas with the shyts etc.

If I attack Mike Tyson he could restrain me without knocking me out but if he did knock me out for attacking him nikkas would say I got what I deserved and dude weighs much more than I do.

This country ain't ready for a real nikka. Even Black Muslims silenced Malcolm X for speaking bad on the White man. All he basically said was that Karma was real and nikkas sold him up the river for it.
