On it's face, you're saying that a league who has a documented history of lying to cover their tracks, using their media partners so sow seeds of doubt about players, and throwing players under the bus when they've done wrong all of a sudden is going to be stand up with a man they've been actively blackballing for years? If a team was planning on actually on signing him why would they force him to go through an orchestrated NFL event? Even if that was their plan why not reach out to him directly and say "Hey. We know it's dumb, but just do the thing and you have a roster spot"? That's how it would actually work if a team was actually serious about signing him. Kaep would've known. His agent wouldn't known. How would SAS know this, but Kaep wouldn't? He wouldn't have moved it if that was the case.

What is nuts is that the NFL expects people to believe that a team would require a player to go through an NFL PR stunt as a pre-requisite for signing a player. They're leaking this shyt afterwards to save face. There's no WAY this would be true and SAS would know this information, but Kaep wouldn't and that definitely seemed like the case from Kaep's interview after working out.

I understand Kaep's response which to me is what happens when you're tired of people bullshytting you and pretending to be straight up when everyone else is watching. They wanted to hide him in a NFL controlled event, with no cameras, and after it was over leak shyt to their people in the same way they did with Dan Patrick and his settlement.

The kaep story was dead and buried. Why dig up the corpse unless they were trying to get some good PR by bringing him back? You think they need to fly 25 teams in and call all the media attention just to reblackball a guy who was already blackballed and the public largely forgot about. Once he is out of this news cycle he will fade away again. Nobody really cares. Yall are all still watching the games.

but people are championing a guy who came up in a very well off caucasian family.

You do know Kap was a newborn when he was adopted by that family right?

Like he had a choice

I agree ...... this doesn’t mean I agree with how the NFL played this whole situation.

two things

If Kap did this because he wants to expose the league, and had no real intention of playing again, I’m all for it.

If he really wants to play and his reaction to the league fukkery was to throw a wrench in their game plan, I’m all for it

However I think there is self serving interest on both sides, I think Kap realizes this is his brand now. I think it’s a bit played up for the public.

This is basically what happened and what SAS is trying to get across.

Exposing the NFL as racist and corrupt was right as rain. But this whole fukking time...I been asking myself, why in the fukk would Kap REALLY be foaming at the mouth to get a spot on an NFL roster after that? And if that was truly the bottom line end goal...he could have made whatever concessions needed to 'play ball' before it got to this point, but I don't think he was ever really that interested due to the fact that he ain't starving for money and has carved out a niche for himself as an activist.

You can acknowledge the fact that this workout the NFL did was PR the same way you can acknowledge that Kap is making PR moves of his own, but if all it was about was getting a job, he went about it in a way that suggests he ain't really want the job as much as he wants the platform that the NFL association gives him. Personally, I wouldn't go back to putting my body and brain on the line for a racist corrupt organization.

Nope. I agree with you but I’m just not getting mad at people protecting their interest. Y’all can get mad (rightfully don’t) at Jay and SAS if you want but if we had actual leaders willing to sacrifice then they’re actions wouldn’t be as impactful. Stop looking at rappers, athletes and journalist to lead us to the promise land.

Being angry online isn’t helping our communities.

being black and defending blackness is an interest worth protecting.

nah im just saying in general....you got Ava commenting on SAS but she's suspect herself. Most of these corporate nikkas are compromised in some way, so even when they are trying to shyt on each other it don't mean much.

Ava ain't above SAS in the grand scheme, my overall point.

now Ava is suspect.
Smh.

here comes the Tariq offshoot jive we see online.

to sit there and put Ava alongside SAS’s unprincipled grift.

Smh...
