:dahell: You're really in here talking about his shirt? Did he refuse to throw the football and sit in the middle of the field pointing to his shirt?

He interviewed by throwing the football.
He threw it well.
He moved well.
He looked in shape.

Broooo i sweae people bringing up the shirt sound dumb ass hell. A freaking t shirt.

This is a trash post. The point is Sassy A’s take is flawed, period.
Then just let that be that and explain the flaws

Too much emotion being thrown around I expect that from childeren or women not grown ass working men

NOPE. His flimsy thoughts are housed on history anti-black in the frame of progress.

you dont segregate Sassy A’s history of comments from this. His lived off of this trash for over a decade now. :camby:
He's a man literally paid to give his opinions, there's white people who hate Stephen A for "making everything about black people"

Then there's black people who hate Stephen A for "pandering for white people"

This is what happens when people try to play armchair psychologist and diagnose why someone may have the opinion they do without listening to the reasoning for their opinion

Stephen A has been embarrassing himself like crazy with this Kaep shyt.
Really disappointing and embarrassing performance.
Whats happening to SAS is what you're gonna see happen to a lot of these corporate black figures. Keep acting like a tap dancing c00n and you'll be ostracized by other black folks. Simple as that. There's only so much longer these nikkas can keep tap dancing in public but it's ok because they're getting a bag.
Don't forget that we've had multiple posters on this very site agree wholeheartedly with what SAS said.

Here is the thing that SAS and Shannon Sharpe don’t get. Kaep do want to play. However, he is in a position where he doesn’t have to bow down to the NFL because of his settlement, and his Nike deal. He is not starving, so why would he kiss the NFL ass? He letting teams know he will give 100 percent on the field, but he still going to be pro Black. If they can handle that he has stated that he would play for any team. People are mad because they are not use to seeing a Black man be able to be principled, and still be able to make millions. They want him to beg and he’s not going to do that.
On it's face, you're saying that a league who has a documented history of lying to cover their tracks, using their media partners so sow seeds of doubt about players, and throwing players under the bus when they've done wrong all of a sudden is going to be stand up with a man they've been actively blackballing for years? If a team was planning on actually on signing him why would they force him to go through an orchestrated NFL event? Even if that was their plan why not reach out to him directly and say "Hey. We know it's dumb, but just do the thing and you have a roster spot"? That's how it would actually work if a team was actually serious about signing him. Kaep would've known. His agent wouldn't known. How would SAS know this, but Kaep wouldn't? He wouldn't have moved it if that was the case.

What is nuts is that the NFL expects people to believe that a team would require a player to go through an NFL PR stunt as a pre-requisite for signing a player. They're leaking this shyt afterwards to save face. There's no WAY this would be true and SAS would know this information, but Kaep wouldn't and that definitely seemed like the case from Kaep's interview after working out.

I understand Kaep's response which to me is what happens when you're tired of people bullshytting you and pretending to be straight up when everyone else is watching. They wanted to hide him in a NFL controlled event, with no cameras, and after it was over leak shyt to their people in the same way they did with Dan Patrick and his settlement.
These two posts sum it up perfectly. Kap clearly doesn't need to get back in the NFL, and the NFL clearly wasn't being sincere with this workout offer. The fact that they wouldn't even let him move the workout to a Tuesday, the standard workout day for free agents, tells us all we needed to know. It wasn't genuine. I have no idea why they decided to suddenly do this after the buzz surrounding Kap died down, but this is the same league that has consistently shot itself in the foot when faced with difficult situations. It's perfectly logical that they just fukked up again. They do it regulalry. I'm amazed that people are still giving them the benefit of the doubt.

There's little reason in his opinions and that's the problem. He's not the only black man on TV with issues regarding Kap but he's the one getting flamed because the veracity he makes his arguments despite being full of holes. Even with people in front of him pointing out his inaccuracies he doubles down by getting more emotional not logical.

He never has that energy towards the establishment. If an athlete has a drug problem he attacks not the individual but black athletes as a group. A white owner gets caught with drugs and he's somber, sympathetic, and says the man has a disease. People see what he's doing because there's been a pattern.

He's angry at Kap but not angry at the monolith that back balled him.

I've never seen Stephen A. as angry at any white person as he has been at Kaepernick. Why wasn't he this angry when Riley Cooper said "I'll fight all you ******s?"

Why does SAS have 4 smilies on this board?

Do you really think the only reason he is not currently employed has to do with his playing ability?
You asked what he was auditioning for based on his shirt as if he didn't go out there and play. You make it seem as if he brought the scouts out to the field, refused to play and instead held a press conference talking about black issues.

And for your question just now, I don't think his play is a reason at all. But that doesn't mean he should stop being who he is. There is nothing wrong with wearing apparel he wants to wear as long as it didn't violate his Nike deal.
