Another example of whats wrong with corporate black figures.....Ava shytting on SAS but she's the same person who tweeted many years ago that she knew Harvey was suspect but she still loved him anyway, and then deleted it when Harvey got exposed. She also friends with Oprah who stay ass kissing cacs. You really can't trust none of these people.

Here is the thing that SAS and Shannon Sharpe don’t get. Kaep do want to play. However, he is in a position where he doesn’t have to bow down to the NFL because of his settlement, and his Nike deal. He is not starving, so why would he kiss the NFL ass? He letting teams know he will give 100 percent on the field, but he still going to be pro Black. If they can handle that he has stated that he would play for any team. People are mad because they are not use to seeing a Black man be able to be principled, and still be able to make millions. They want him to beg and he’s not going to do that.
Here’s the problem. Eric Reid is doing everything Kaepernick does and is in the NFL right now. He’s even still kneeling.

Shannon Sharpe said it best. Kaep is focused on appealing to people that can't get him a job.

Nothing Howard or max said is anything groundbreaking or something we didn't know. Black folk can't get away with stuff white folk get away with. Is this news to some of yall? When a white cop pull Howard over does he act an ass cause white folk get away with it? Or are you more cautious? Idealistically you shouldn't have to be more cautious right? But how do black folk act in reality? We pick and choose our battles everyday. Getting a job or working in corporate America or for the white NFL owners is no different.

Facts

You aint gon be screaming fukk the police to a cop face

You not gon keep it real, you gon keep it smart and lived for another day

He was working out and interviewing for a job with the NFL for a quarterback position and not an activist position. He can do all the activism he wants as long as it doesn't take precedence over his job as a QB. Eric Reid's made sure to make it to his team on time after helping kaep on Saturday cause he had a game sunday to prepare for. Would Eric risk missing the game or practice for kaep? Of course not. Even through all his jaw jacking playing football is his main priority.

Only thing kaps actions did, like wearing the kunte kinte shirt was let the teams know his activism, imagery and optics are more important to him than simply throwing a football. And there is nothing wrong with that. But he cant get mad at a team for not hiring him cause of that choice.

T.O.
SAS decaying before our eyes brehs

morphing back into late 2000s respectability politics, conservative c00n version that he was

right after that contract :mjlol:

b-b-ut ratings. At the cost of what? His soul is clearly crushed by the visceral reactions of brehs.

I like Stephen A., but my instincts telling me he's dead wrong on this one...

Meaning that, he's basing his words on the premise that if Kaep just showed up to the workouts, and was a bit contrite, he would be back in the NFL.

But the fact that they altered the standard waiver forms the day of to explicitly say "this workout does not guarantee a job", gives me pause. So they added a paragraph last minute specifically for Kaepernick, didn't want any film of the workout to go public, lied about the details after the fact and we're supposed to believe a team was guaranteed to pick him up? I don't know who SAS's contacts are in the league, but it's suspicious behavior, and I get why Kaep was weary.

Howard said it perfectly, why is it so important for the NFL to buck break kap?

And when max said SAS sources are liars, you could tell that hurt his feelings...:russ:

we can argue until the end of time about it, but still no GM or owner has stepped up to bring him in yet. And I honestly do not see this story going away for a while. Just give the man a shot on a roster, damn!

You trying to tell me Massa lied :to:

He was being an activist his last year in the NFL. By all reports he made every practice and did what he needed to do. I don’t see what Eric Reid going to practice have to do with anything. Why would he miss a game for Kaep? Not following your logic.

SAS is in the same pool Jay is in.

They might not be against Kaep but they work for the NFL so their hands are tied. They’re protecting their bag and I understand that. That’s why we need real leaders in our community who aren’t afraid of losing money/endorsements.
"Real leaders" should never be automatically attached to entertainers in the first place but people keep on doing it then getting mad when they fold for personal gain :francis:

:laff: at him bringing in two legal waivers and reading them on air as if he has any fukkin idea what they mean.

At least bring a fukkin lawyer on the show to discuss the documents.

But to read them and act like you got a clue what they mean is ridiculous :camby:
There were people who practice law on Twitter saying that Kaep would've made a mistake signing those waivers.

This nikka said on television, with a straight face, a few years ago that he would've won the OJ trial if he was the lead prosecutor. You can't make this shyt up when it comes to his ego.
