SAS opinion is based on the premise that a team was actually going to sign him if he went along with it based on his sources. That theory was floating around from the beginning cause it never made sense for the NFL to do this now in the first place when everyone had forgotten about kaep and he was irrelevant 2 weeks ago.

Here is the thing that SAS and Shannon Sharpe don’t get. Kaep do want to play. However, he is in a position where he doesn’t have to bow down to the NFL because of his settlement, and his Nike deal. He is not starving, so why would he kiss the NFL ass? He letting teams know he will give 100 percent on the field, but he still going to be pro Black. If they can handle that he has stated that he would play for any team. People are mad because they are not use to seeing a Black man be able to be principled, and still be able to make millions. They want him to beg and he’s not going to do that.

The issue is kaep supporters are being idealistic. And Steven A smith is being pragmatic. And being idealistic wont get you a job if that is your end goal. At a certain point you gotta deal with the reality and not about how you feel things should be. Life's not fair. You can either deal with it or cry about it.

The issue is Stephen A. works as hard as anyone in sports TV, but it appears to be his everything. What would it take for him to walk away from his 8m?? What would they have to tell him to make him say 'no deal'. He cant perceive a black man putting something above money/job. He just cant comprehend that concept. The fact that Kaep wants to play, but wont just sit back and take whatever the league throws at him confuses Stephen A.. I understand criticism of Kaep if they said "why was the backup venue so far away" or "why not have the lawyer fight the language of the waiver on site" but he nitpicks every move Kaep makes so one could only suspect that deep down he doesn't really support him.

That's what I'm saying. As I get older and wiser; I won't label people c00ns for wanting to go about things in different ways if I won't do what I can to support my stance. In his mind he might think that Kaep is a great guy but isn't changing anything on a bigger scale. But in this internet era, the people who be the most vocal are the ones on twitter not offering or risking shyt, if every anonymous militant actually cared like they claim to do, they would not be living even safer than SAS. They would be actually doing shyt. It's like they live vicariously through a dude and shyt on anyone who doesn't.
