That would be best for all of the characters in the book but they are probably just focusing on the Ben Mears' storylineWish this was a miniseries tbh.
Mike Flanagan mentioned that he is working on getting The Dark Tower series off the groundI think the IT series coming to Max in 2025 will light the fire for a Dark Tower series...especially given how well Thrones/Dragons has done.

After reading 'salem's Lot and the prequel and sequel short stories (Jerusalem's Lot and One for the Road) not that long ago, I'm more than ready for this. Looks like they are keeping it set in the 1970s which is a good choice. I wonder if they'll address the bigotry in the small town since they have some black actors, or if they'll just ignore it
I haven't seen that. Looking it up I see it is more of a direct prequel to 'Salem's Lot than what Jerusalem's Lot actually was. I'll have to watch it some time“Chapelwaite” on mgm ended up being pretty good. I didn’t even know they adapted “Jerusalem’s lot”.
