anyone else seen the sequel from 1987?

It's pretty underrated as hell.

After reading 'salem's Lot and the prequel and sequel short stories (Jerusalem's Lot and One for the Road) not that long ago, I'm more than ready for this. Looks like they are keeping it set in the 1970s which is a good choice. I wonder if they'll address the bigotry in the small town since they have some black actors, or if they'll just ignore it

“Chapelwaite” on mgm ended up being pretty good. I didn’t even know they adapted “Jerusalem’s lot”.

I haven't seen that. Looking it up I see it is more of a direct prequel to 'Salem's Lot than what Jerusalem's Lot actually was. I'll have to watch it some time
