The more time I spend on the internet the more I realize Stephen Curry doesn't have any real fans. They're just Kobe Stans who need someone to supplant LeBron before he can shyt all over Kobe's legacy (as if he hasn't already) or LeBron-haters who need someone to "stop" him from winning titles. :russ:

Magic damn near averaged a 20+ points triple double on the 1988 finals and still didn't win the MVP award that series. shyt just happens that way sometimes. Kobe averaged I think 26/5/5 while shooting over 50% from deep in the 2002 finals and didn't even sniff the award. Tom Brady threw for 153 yards and one touchdown, leading New England to 13 offensive points and was named super bowl 36 MVP. How you play is more important than if the voters give you the award or not. Are the careers of roger Clemens, Barry bonds, or Pete Rose less great since they're not in the hall of fame?
bro andre iguodala didnt even put that good of numbers up. once again if we are going to say he is erasing Brons legacy. if Bron was in Currys shoes & didnt win final mvp & let shane battier win it. would he not get roasted? im not saying its right or wrong. but its the truth. you can throw out these different scenarios.

as to your Magic one, James Worthy balled out that finals.

I'm aware of what worthy did. 36-16-10 in game 7. Magic was better over the course of the series even though he didn't win the award was my point. Sometimes you ball way the hell out and still don't get it. I think curry averaged 26 points and 8 assists a game on the finals which were better than his season averages. I'm just stating that it's a ridiculous notion that a teammate playing great is somehow an indictment of the star player. At the end of the day this is largely Kobe stans making these arguments to try tearing down everyone but their hero and the rest of us shouldn't waste our time in threads like this. I've said my piece anyway and plan to help make the coli better by not contributing to this thread anymore.

cats stay on this either or bull as if you can only give props to one athlete at a time. ol can't chew gum and walk at the same time ninjas.

both steph and bron at the top of the league right now. stephs team got the juice coming off a historic season and him having the mvp, but bron is still a beast that can tow his team to a series win. i think this finals could go either way if they meet up. might be one for the ages...
