The reality is that dems propose and pass laws that benefit AAs and Republicans then sue, pass laws, or change the administration of these programs so that non whites don't receive their share of these benefits.

From a liberal perspective this means remove the financial burden that will unjustly keep you at the bottom merely for being alive and freeing up resources that should allow for your advancement and better quality of life.

I think of a ton of things we (and others) do as strange... Just because the majority is on something doesn't make it correct. Sometimes subgroups are just used to things and go with the flow. Stats don't lie... our family structures, land ownership, and business success doesn't increase under any party... or prison numbers and interactions with society doesn't flip with the GOP or Dems.... actually... Clintons and the Dems pushed through some of the Worst policies for black Males. People have argued that Liberals, in general, have helped to destroy the black family unit.

So because blacks haven’t been as economically successful and resourceful as whites how does that prove that the cause of this is being used *deliberately* by Democrats to keep blacks inferior? I’m not necessarily arguing that more could be done from Democrats for blacks but just because policies haven’t been in enacted or the policies enacted haven’t been as effective doesn’t mean it’s proof of hatred towards black ppl.

You don't see Dems doing anything... you may be a little blind. Do you not see Trump pushing for some Justice reform recently? He is... but that doesn't mean that he cares about black people at all. It may be true that some black people don't see white libs for what they are.... but more black women and men nationwide are seeing this nation for what it is, and see most white Dems the same as they see any white elitist... a part of white supremacy. It's almost like how FDR (president) and his wife are considered liberal democrates blah blah... just like the rest.. Many black people and other "minority" groups considered him a hero.. but his 'new deal' policies increased the white middle class and destroyed the chance of most black advancement. That's HOW this stuff works.

Prison reform was Originally a leftist platform until conservatives used the stance to accuse Democrats as being “soft on crime”. Then conservatives started arguing FOR prison reform simply for tax purposes. But even the current GOP is t fully on board with prison reform. Also watch what happens if included in prison reform is the ability to allow felons to vote, another progressive platform, and see how quick the GOP uses dog whistles and barks at the idea.

I support diminishing the system as a whole, because I believe it is oppressive, and any expansion of it is necessarily an expansion of white supremacy.
