The fact is, whether you like it or not, there is no transatlantic slave trade without African help and involvement. That sin will never be forgiven from me, what my ancestors went through willl never be forgotten.

And it starts with the collaboration of Africans and Europeans to trade and enslave us. RBIs went on for centuries before Africa was colonized.

My brother in Christ, the transatlantic slave trade went on for centuries before colonialism started.

The fact is multiple tribes, and yes royals and elites traded Africans for trinkets, umbrellas, mirrors, and guns. Empires grew wealthy on both sides because of this.

It’s always a funny story for me to consider.

On one hand Africans were smart, mathematically and philosophically gifted humans who are responsible for the origins of some of the greatest gifts to mankind (I agree), on the other hand they were conned and fooled by Europeans and “DiDnT kNoW wHaT wAs GoiNg on”, (I disagree).

The continent is earned its colonialism, and they are paying for their original sin. I don’t feel bad for them and I’m not happy about it either but let’s not pretend that the situation we find ourselves in doesnt start with them.
