They don’t want to fix home. Black immigrants send $50B home daily, but many of them have no intention of contributing anything to their countries outside of well wishes and some dollars.

As much dysfunction that the black American community has, it’s Still in far better shape than ANY other African or carribean country/community.

We’re fortunate as black Americans that our ancestors simply did the work, and a lot of these folks are still waiting to this day to start.

My brother in Christ, the transatlantic slave trade went on for centuries before colonialism started.

The fact is multiple tribes, and yes royals and elites traded Africans for trinkets, umbrellas, mirrors, and guns. Empires grew wealthy on both sides because of this.

It’s always a funny story for me to consider.

On one hand Africans were smart, mathematically and philosophically gifted humans who are responsible for the origins of some of the greatest gifts to mankind (I agree), on the other hand they were conned and fooled by Europeans and “DiDnT kNoW wHaT wAs GoiNg on”, (I disagree).

The continent is earned its colonialism, and they are paying for their original sin. I don’t feel bad for them and I’m not happy about it either but let’s not pretend that the situation we find ourselves in doesnt start with them.

It’s really not the same. You’re talking about 250 years of slave trading, VS isolated incidents with WS propaganda.

We were traded by Africans for centuries.

We feel for them because they got double crossed and colonized because of it.

Had they not been colonized, and simply got rich off of it, we would look at them the same way we look at Europeans.
