You didnt answer my 1st question. What's your solution?

How do detectives solve cases? The us gov't can find and and track sleeper cells around the world but a gun within their own borders is too great a task?

There's over 600,000 missing people in the United States. 40% of all murders go unsolved. It's neat that you think the us government is all powerful and omnipotent but they arent. Cars get stolen everyday and never recovered. You think the us government can accurately locate and confiscate items that can fit in someones pocket? When someone intentionally tries to hide it from them? Does that even make sense to you?

You expect the government to go door to door, apartment to apartment of every us citizen and find and take their guns? You understand there's a lot more people than government employees right? Even if they had some magic list of who has what gun and when and where it was purchased, which they don't. How would they know for instance my grandma who has never purchased a gun, doesn't have one in her house?

Would you Support and allow the government to search your and your families houses? Whenever they want? Cause obviously they wont just come one time then cross your name off a list.

As far as a solution....anything I propose is full of holes and very discriminatory in practice. Gun issues arent because of gangs (crips and bloods), it's not because of illegal immigration. It's because of white people and their attitudes and beliefs. They don't want to hold themselves and people like them accountable and obviously they won't allow themselves to be controlled or managed by anyone else.

That's not true when you're buying from an unlicensed vendor or from a private seller. It's not always true for online purchases either.
Online purchases must go through a FFL dealer. You can't buy a guy and have shipped to your house unless you are a FFL. Once the gun arrives at a FFL dealer, you have to go through a background check. Buying a gun is not as easy as people make it seem.

Nobody is buying houses right now
Nobody is buying gas right now

Wanna know why? Because they cost too much. Background checks ain't gonna do anything. If you want people to stop buying ARs, then find a way to jack up the price.

I bet if ARs were $5K-$10K a lot of people would not be buying them as much.

They're selling these things for $500 :dahell:

Unfortunately I don't see a solution. Banning guns is going to be impossible. There are more guns than people in this country. If you try to confiscate guns, you'll have a blood bath because people are NOT going to give up their guns and the police and military are not going to be cool with trying to go door to door looking for guns.

You're right about online sales. Thanks, I should have looked that up before assuming.
