, one of the grandfathers of modern day R&B.......pay ya respects nikka........

But Stevie Wonder's opinion in this particular issue is pointless cause he's blind. Get to the likes of Al Green or someone else who can see, how he really thinks.

I'm just waiting for his next big single to bite mid or late 90s R&B.

My man went from the 70s & 80s with Uptown Funk and 24K Magic, now that joint with Cardi B is 1992 New Jack Swing.

Bruno about to drop the 2018 "Touch Me Tease Me" next :heh:

And lol at people actin like Stevie ain't experienced more racism In his life then them, or doesn't have the right to voice his CORRECT opinion because he's blind :mjlol:
Stevie is not the only artist experiencing racism and while is a legend his opinion is not always correct. He doesn’t have ownership over black music entirely and their are ppl that study black music that can give incite on this.

What does Bruno Mars have to do with philipino culture? He has nothing to do with it. Has he ever even been to the Philippines? Dummy.

Lol Too much jealousy in this thread. Bruno Mars was obviously influenced by black american music. It's not his fault his music is popular.

Another legend comes out the woodwork to speak facts.:ehh:

I think the bigger issue is the fact that when black artist come out they are shelved or they don’t have the resources to be successful in a genre they are genetically and culturally attached too. I believe the real issue is the mass consumers which are normally white have an issue seeing black people performing their own music. Steve was in an era when no other group was performing black music. You had prince, James brown, Curtis mayfield, Sam Cooke and etc. today we have Justin Timberlake, Bruno, Jojo, Winehouse, Adele, logic and lil xan perform popular contemporary black music.
