what :dahell: they want to prevent any and all chances of businesses being sued so the economy can recover quicker, and their corporate buddies dont get any huge lawsuits. everyone knows that

but we're 8 months into the virus and no one is filing lawsuits anyway. so the question is, why not just give it to them for more stimulus money
a quick google before proclaiming people aren’t suing would make you look better...

You’re a piece of damn shyt to withhold relief just to stop these stupid businesses from being sued. They should be sued for for negligence. The entire Trump administration, the congress and senate need to be sued as well. fukk all of them!

i'm not about to google every case for you. there are thousands, and just because they might not win money doesn't mean they don't win other concessions. you can follow the oakland case to see what requirements came from the suit. taking away liability and ability to sue means these companies don't have to do jack shyt to protect their workers, amazing how the WFH elite is ok with that

but the vast majority of them are doing what they can to protect their workers :childplease: and states are pretty much all mandating masks, etc

its still an airborne virus that no one has any control over and no one can prove where they got it. hence your second link

i guess we'll see if the dems cave on it or not :yeshrug: im not in congress

Source? No way this can be true with the amount of localities having to institute fines, and then raise the fines after non-compliance.

actually its on you to provide the source. people have been working with the public for 8 months, what industry has been decimated?

You continually refuse to read links provided to you. And the second part was never the argument; nice bad faith trolling again
well all i said, that you apparently took issue with, is that the small number of cases being filed by people who choose to work at these jobs is not worth tanking stimulus for the entire country over

again, grocery workers have been working with the public for 8 months. does it seem like they're in need of the ability to sue their employers? because they arent doing it

we're talking about 330 million people :yeshrug: not individual cases
someone explain to me the aversion for liability protection; we're 8 months into this thing :dahell:people have been working in grocery stores this entire time

if there are lawsuits to be had, then why the fukk arent they already filed? and if they havent been filed already, then why is it even an issue going forward?

you act like liability protection is gonna take away this ability to sue...that hasnt come to fruition these past 8 months, when businesses havent had protection this whole time?

what difference does it make at this point?
So your argument went from an absolute implying no lawsuits are even happening to some threshold is required (which you would then move anyway) :dead:

If this wasn't a problem your party wouldn't be fighting so hard to shield businesses from liability
