Mitch McConnell should get most of if not all the blame here. The house has passed not one, but two versions of the heroes act bill. He doesn't even have the decency to bring either up to the chamber to vote. That should be the first step before both sides start negotiating with the white house.

He states that the republican senators won't vote for any of the bills, but why not bring it out and let us see exactly who says no?? I think he's scared that some of his repub senators would actually vote yes with dems if he brought it up (especially those in tight races) and he's afraid it would pass. Evil motherfukker :hhh:

The writing is on the wall here. Pubs gonna water down the bill so low it ain't worth it and won't even consider the bills already on their desk. They want the next administration to feel the full weight of the bullshyt they've been doing come January.

The game of chicken is going no where and getting mad at Pelosi ain't doing shyt for anybody. At this point mobilize your peoples to vote man.

When they wouldn’t even bother with Romney’s essential worker bill back in May it was a wrap.

They were just going to pretend this wasn’t going on and let the states deal with it

Friend of mine has an interesting theory. He said that congress is probably waiting until everyone who signed up for UI back in March/April to run out before the add any supplemental extension. He didn’t know if you can reapply after your time frame runs out tho

That's one of the reasons I'm confused with Pelosi getting bad optics on taking a deal. She, the white house (mostly Mnuchin) and other members of congress have either produced, drafted or passed legislation but bytch and the Senate keep bullshytting and getting none of this narrative push back. McConnell even laughed about this shyt during his debate and yet it's only the echo chamber really up in arms.

bytch needs all this shyt tied to him and daily but it's hard when the cheeto in chief sucks all the air out the room.

and he will, immediately, once pelosi accepts the deal

or she can just not take it, and keep sharing the blame :yeshrug:

the more I watch this I’m thinking Pelosi doesn’t believe they’re going to win next month. If she were she’d do like you said and sign this bill and wait until after the election to write up and pass new legislation.

naw cause any new bill would most likely include retro pay. I’m thinking they’re trying to clear the rolls of as many people as they can first. The more desperate people get, the more they will start going to places like amazon and Walmart and working two or three low paying jobs. Especially with the holidays coming up.
