The real risk in Pelosi’s hardball is that should Trump lose in November and the Senate flips, is there going to be a deal in the lame duck? Or will it be sabotage things for Biden and Dems coming in?
There is a funding bill needed to be passed in December, another continuing resolution. But that’s the only other window before Inauguration Day.
But taking a deal for sake of deal isn’t what she should do. Especially since rich people don’t need anymore tax breaks and backdoor slush funds.
Wolf got in Nancy ass a little bit today. Had her heated.

Is it that seriousI personally hope your vote for Biden gets rejected. We don’t want you as an ally and I will die happy knowing you won’t ever sit beside me in Amy meaningful fashion. You’re a cancer on our team and id rather you vote for Trump.

AgreedI dont even like Pelosi and she was right. I'm actually impressed
Democrats tried to fix prevent this shyt, but now that people are going thru it, they are expected to compromise for a short term solution, just to have to have this same debate again in a few months?
You either fix it all the way or not at all. Democrats compromised the first time with the expectations of republicans coming back again and they didnt.

because we dont have the moneyWhy don't the states deserve the money? We were failed by the federal government. We were failed on a national level. I'm not sure why or how it hurts to supports states that supports states that do the bare minimum. Maybe I'm missing something. It's it more beneficial to help states like New York, California and Illinois because they help to fund states like Kentucky, South Carolina and Mississippi? What am I missing?
I'll say this, I can see why they don't want people draining the country dry with lawsuits and have to bail people (the people they work for) out. But people are gonna pay their bills and buy food because that 1200 in April wasn't shyt.
sure, states "deserve" it. but its just fake debt money. pelosi isnt paying for a dime of it, which is why she cant get her bill passedthe republican senate desperately trying to keep their majority doesnt care if they get blamed personally for not passing a trump-signed stimulus bill 2 weeks before an election?Republicans don't care if they get blamed, .

This is the trick they try to pull every time they're on their way out the door, problem for them is Trump did such a horrendous job they probably won't hold a chamber for all of Biden's 4 years.Or the lame duck congress will pass a 3 trillion package just to drive up the deficit and use the deficit to get take back seats in 2 years

Well in 4 years, the next republican nominee will go back to good ol reliable lowering taxes because if Biden wins, taxes will get raised.
Taxing the wealthy isn't the only way to narrow the income gap. Reducing taxes for low- and middle-income taxpayers will help that effort, too. Along those lines, Biden has proposed:
- Temporarily increasing the child tax credit to $3,000 per child for children ages 6 to 17 and to $3,600 for children under 6, and making it refundable and payable in advance, during the coronavirus crisis;
- Expanding the child and dependent care credit to $8,000 per child (up to $16,000), and making it refundable and payable in advance;
- Forgiving student loan debt and excluding the forgiven amount from taxation;
- Expanding the work opportunity tax credit to include military spouses;
- Enhancing tax breaks and access to 401(k) plans for workers who are saving for retirement, including "equalizing" the tax benefits of 401(k) plans (possibly through a tax credit instead of a tax deduction for contributions); and
- Creating tax credits for small businesses that offer retirement plans for their workers.

No, she isn’t right. Unlike every other bill, this one has the support of Trump, which places the ball squarely in the court of McConnell and Republicans. Pelosi has an opportunity, just weeks from election day, to drive a wedge between Senate Republicans - many of whom now fighting near desperate re-election bids - and the party’s wildly popular leader. That she still refuses to sign on to Mnuchin’s offer is a strategic blunder that will literally see millions face starvation and homelessness.I dont even like Pelosi and she was right.
