I'm trying to follow the process of if we know Mitch will not take the deal, why doesn't Pelosi take the deal, get nothing in return, have the deal not get voted, and supposedly gain something she would have not gotten if she continued to fight for a better deal despite being baited.

Yeah I'm still drawing a blank on that one. Cause Mnuchin don't control the senate and the senate has been saying fukk a deal since Trump was hopped up on covid drugs and wild tweeting.

it's not complicated. if pelosi takes the deal, one of two things will happen:

-it passes, and that 1.9 trillion goes out to the country
or
-mitch mcconnell has to explicitly be the one to turn it down, along with the senate republicans, in the face of the democrats and the president saying they should pass it. a move that will be wildly unpopular with america. so the republicans have to eat all of that negativity, and pelosi has lost nothing

what is the difference between pelosi not agreeing to any deal, or agreeing to the 1.8 and mitch turning it down? she's in the exact same place either way

It’s over. The election is next Tuesday and the senate was adjourned. I told y’all a week ago why they were holding up the stimulus because they’re trying to clear as many people off the rolls as possible. And they’re checking for fraud. It was never gonna be the first one. The nikka who calls himself the grim reaper and told everyone we ain't doing another round of stimulus kept his promise. If you gonna take Pelosi to task over anything it's making a statement she didn't hold to regarding the SC nomination. Otherwise all smoke goes to the limp dikk in the senate who can't do anything right and only has his position because of donation amount and not effectively working for our intrest.

fukk Chuck Shumer. Nancy did what she needed to do and has been making her case no matter how wrong or right it is. I blame the Senate on both chambers for fukking this up. Shumer has done literally nothing in the minority to advance dem intrest. He isn't savy, and needs to get the fukk out the way for Liz Warren or someone with some balls to pull tricks I'm sure the pubs will try if they hit the minority.

Myself and multiple other people have explained to you the best possible deal for the American people is to take her chances with a Biden WH and potentially a flipped Senate.
